| Post subject: | Dance Floor Question |
If you're on a dance floor and a girl is dancing nearby, but keeps looking back towards you and inching closer until she's practically grinding you... isn't that some kind of signal that she'd want to dance with you? Yet every time I try to approach for that, I get a funny look or otherwise turned down. (Girl on Friday wagged her finger at me... but looked more amused than anything.) Are they just playing mind games, or am I approaching wrong... or both? Or a better question might be "what is the best approach if that is a signal?" |

if u feel like you are egtting a signal, then hell..approach her if u werent getting one, well u still made an approach when im on the dance floor and i feel a girl keeps looking over at me, ill go over to her and say, "So are you going to stare at me all day, or are you going to dance with me\talk to me?" or if a girl bumps me i'll act like she grabbed my ass or something or ill say "if you wanna dance with me all u gotta do is ask.." i duno, if you just go up to them, thats already going to help you out. but dont hesitate cuz thats the worse u can do besdies not going at all |

It's all about body language. You have to look like your having alot of funny. Go up to the girl and grab her hand, dont say anything(she knows you want to dance with her). You can also spin them it's fun. Also try to spin her and her friend the same time. It also helps to be a good dancer. I'm a good dancer and every time I dance with girls I always get looks from everyone. Girls always flock my way trying to dance with me. |

| Post subject: | Dance floor etiquette |
Hey Onoma, Dance floor game is interesting. I love dancing, I dance about 20 hours per week teaching and taking classes, and on top of that I go out and dance a lot in clubs at night. I would say that Dance Game is my specialty area of the PUA world. The thing that makes Dance Game a bit different to Non-Dance Game is that the dance floor has a whole bunch of etiquette of its own, not all of which is exactly complimentary to typical game. For example, in the Dance World, talking on the floor is very bad form. In your situation, if the girl who is checking you out is a good dancer with professional dance experience, then she might find it rude that you tried to talk to her when you perhaps should have been moving in to dance with her instead. If you did try to dance with her, maybe your approach was incorrect. Or maybe, and this never fails to amaze me, maybe she just had really really bad spatial awareness which resulted in her grinding her arse into you. The looks could have been of disapproval because she thinks you encroached on her space. I have had this experience a lot myself. Girls slam into me and then act like I hit them. I don’t drink and I know my spatial awareness is sound. We all as men assume women are naturally good dancers. Well seriously trust me as a dance teacher when I tell you that they are not. In fact, some of them have such bad spatial awareness’ and lack of coordination that they drift all over the floor without realizing they have even moved. I’ve seen girls travel backwards three to six feet, slam into somebody who wasn’t even moving and then blame them for the whole thing. Add a bit of alcohol to that and you don’t know what’s going on in their dumb ass bimbo heads. Here are some neg lines I have used that have worked well in the past when girls have been into my dance space and making physical contact. If you’re going to dance in my space you should really be dancing with me You seem to be having some spatial issues … you should let me lead you for a bit. You seem to be having some balance problems … you should lean on me for a while. Are you a Ball Room dancer? [yes how do you know] / [no why do you ask] You seem to need a lot of space. Anyway, the best bet is to just continue dancing and turn to face her. If she turns away, move in behind and start dancing with her from behind. If she turns towards you … hey its all cool. Other tips Talking on the Dance Floor Don’t talk while dancing, it’s no-win all the time. The dance deserves your attention. The dance is a communication in itself, talking just shows you are ignorant to that. Save the chit chat for off the floor. If she tries to talk to you… tell her “Don’t talk, just dance.” This will be unusal as most AFCs will try to hit on girls on the dance floor. Once you get her off the floor, you can explain that you don’t like to talk on the floor, because the floor is about the dance. Chicks seem to like that when I guy appreciates dance for its own sake rather than as an obvious way to hit on chicks. Sensual versus smutty Chicks love a guy who can move his hips on the floor. You interlock legs and start moving her with your hips. Makes them, and all their friends, wet instantly … if you do it right. Here is the catch. Male hips moving forward from nutral position like a sexual thrust is BAD. This is not sexy, this is dry humping on the dance floor. It will turn her off as much as walking up to a girl in the street and planting your cock on her. Male hips moving back from nutral position so your ass moves out and back to nutral is sensual. Its not invasive into her space, but it shows you have control and can move that ever so important part of your body. Girls will love it. Back = good. Forward = bad. Ok, I crap on enough. If anybody has any dance floor game or dance questions. Happy to answer them. I think you can message me through this site. Anyway. I would be keen to hear about other PUAs dance floor experiences. Remember, love the dance and the women will love you. |
