Hi there folks,

I'm new to this forum, but have been reading and learning about pickup and seduction for a while. I'll make this short, as I'm not sure what to make of this, so looking for a little critique:

Went to a club last weekend, #closed and made out with HBArtistic. She seemed really into me. Did a bit of push-pull at the club, but very little. Led her around the dancefloor, have good body language, ended our makeout first with "Not so fast". She loved it.

today I txted her:

me: i know you haven't been able to stop thinking about me, so i figured i'd say hi.
(no reply)
me: mmm, you must be the shy type. There, i'll give you some time to think of what to say next.
HB: another sleepless night thinking about me?
me: took you that long to come up with that one eh? s'alright, they all get nervous around me at first. How's life?
HB: It's true, i had to discard the first few drafts.
me: Knew it. Alright babe, go catch your breath then cause im gonna call you after im done flossing the cat.
HB: You have a very unique txting technique. A little agressive.
me: Glad you like it.

Called her later and no answer. Left a short msg, gave her my number, told her to call back.

In retrospect, i should've called as soon as she txted me back, and set up the day 2. Now i'm thrown off by her last txt which called me out on being "agressive".... did i deal with this wrong?? Did i not calibrate properly for the girl? I guess i was too cocky and not enough funny....
do i call her again or forget it? any feedback is great.

Thanks!

haha that was pretty funny to me
but yeah it did seem a little more cocky than funny
when i text, that sounds like some of the things i do
but then its to girls that know me a little better than the ones i just met
so shes probably not used to sum1 that confident\cocky, so then it probably came off as too strong for her
but then maybe she just busy
u never know
i say try one more time in an attempt for the 2nd date. but if it doesnt work, ditch it and find another.

Just to expand on what hollywoodd was saying, keep in mind that tone of voice gets lost in translation in txt. So if you've only met her once, she's probably right to think that it sounds a bit aggressive without a joking tone of voice to back it up.

Thanks for the feedback, I think you're both right on the money.

This experience was eye-opening to me and so I'll share as a testament to the power of this stuff....

Right after I posted this thread, the girl txted me back calling me "insolent" and fed up, saying I was doing everything wrong.

Immediately I felt an urge inside of me to apologize and try to remediate things. But I didn't. I simply said "oh you're too serious, maybe we'll try again some other time". I could not BELIEVE what happened next. She actually warmed up to me! She bought into my reality and started qualifying herself to me.

Now it's ON!

the other guys nailed it, your texts had no content other than cockyness I would add a reason for texting next time That said when I did have a phone it was pure logistics.
