Hey guys , so yesterday I hung with these two rich girls from a suburb of my city. And one of them was my friends gf hb 7.5 (btw she threw me more IOI'S then mystery has gotten in the past ten years combined.) But my friends gf friend hb 8. kept saying faggot and how all this stuff was gay. Not in a mean way towards me (she thought I was hilarious) but as a joke towards everything. Now I kinda felt uncomfortable, because I hate the word faggot. I only use it when im making fun of like a stereotypical macho man calling someone else that. Now if you use it alot, thats your thing, I aint here to judge. But I kinda felt like I should of said that to fit in, I eventually didnt ,and they still liked me. But ive been noticiing lately with alot of suburban kids ive been hangin with. Ive been having this feeling that I have to go against a couple morals I have. what do you guys think?any experience with this? should I go against my morals? |

I stick with my own morals, not someone else's. If someone thinks something is gay and I don't agree with it I'll let them know like: Nah that's not gay, that's cute! me=me |

Why would you care about anything anyone says as a joke. Or anything else for that matter? If you are gey then you wouldnt be offended, if you are not gay then you know that she is wrong. Getting angry about this is a waste of time and effort. Get over it. |

Don't change who you are because you think it'll make people like you better, work on perfecting who you are as a person because you want to be the best that you can be. I know several people who don't swear, or use "the lord's name in vain" and such. I respect them more for sticking to that than I would if they were to start swearing when I'm around just because I tend to swear fairly often. Being yourself is the best thing that you can be, just try to be your best self! |

You as a person will not change throughout this process. Your self perception of yourself, however, will. That is change. |
