Ok, so here's the situation. I am an ex oneitis sufferer who has been reading around the subject for a while now. I started to talk to people, hell, even start conversations with random girls in clubs. Got a few numbers. Things haven't been further than that yet. Yesterday, i got a text from someone who I have known for years, but only occasionally talk to these days. She was inviting me over to her place, but unfortunately I was in the next city and couldn't make it. We've been talking since then, and it turns out her relationship with her boyfriend is on the rocks. Naturally, I start pulling the whole "make her re-evaluate him in my terms" boyfriend destroyer. As we talk, we arrange to meet up on Monday. About an hour later, she tells me she has split with her boyfriend, it didn't end well, and she still has to go to a family meal with him tomorrow. How should I proceed from here? Is now a good time to try to move in? How should I behave on Monday? Are there any major dos or don'ts? I'm sorry if all this sounds overly stupid, but while I'm capable of talking to women, I have a tendency to self sabotage whenever I'm on to a good thing. |
