Just checking is pecking is at all acceptable. I'm 6'9 so im finding extremely hard not to lean in when talking. if i talk louder it just seems like im shouting at everyone at the bar because all they see is me heads above anyone im talking too. in this situation is pecking okay? |

Rather than leaning in (basically you're hunching over and so you have a terrible posture that conveys a lack of confidence and isn't at all attractive) you just adjust your entire body's positioning so that you don't have problems talking to them comfortably. Now, because of your height this isn't as easy as it is for someone else who just needs to stand closer to the girl or get her to lean in, but you can still do it anyways. Some things you can do to make yourself able to speak with others more easily would be sitting, leaning against something that allows you to get down low, having them stand on something higher such as stairs or higher platforms, etc. Also, you can tilt your head down and lean down slightly in order to say something, but make sure you don't stay hunched over. |

I am 6'2 and usually just lean back, against a wall or on a seat. That brings me down to their level if thats not possible I will angle my head slightly downwards and talk quietly, they move in closer then you can talk normal again. Just make them miss one or two words and you are set. |

apart from the above, if you're still having trouble, only peck when you say something. if you cant hear her, tell her to speak up and stand on her toes etc. you can make being tall work for you in many ways by using what the other guy's have said here, here's just a few that popped into my mind that i recall reading in one of mystery's things...: by leaning back against a wall, you create the impression that she's picking you up by leading her to stand on a platform/stairs/etc you're essentially giving her a compliance test talking softly and getting her to lean in is another compliance test |
