I'm relatively shy around people I don't know, but have been getting better at creating interest and getting numbers on the fly without any of this premeditated stuff. Best so far was in a crowded bar a girl told her friends she was going to buy drinks, i said I'd pay for everyone's if she'd grab me one too so I didn't have to wait. This left her seat open and friends curious
Anyway that was first real success, with 3 girls surprisingly.
Recently went out drinking again, with another friend of mine whose fairly decent at the game. He was busy off harassing another group, while i talked with the waitress. We had several good looking females com see us thru out the night (I'm in college, and I've never seen so many 9's on one day other than this 5th of may...)
Odd thing is, before she was our waitress we were ordering from the bar, she kept seeing to eye me. Finally we get a table as were hungry and the bartender doesnt serve food here. Wave her hover, flirt with her, order drinks and food. Tell her she should steal sombreros for us and mardigras beads and such, which we finally coerced her intro doing.
We ask her what she recomends drinking, she is clearly a drinking champ after her list of answers, then friends birthday, exchange names and such, shes 19. Harass her about how she can be an expert on alcohol. Ask her if she wants to take shots with us, says owner is sitting behind out booth, so I say head outside to the patio then? She says she can drink anything I can, etc and so on. Anyway a few rumplements and 151 later (she'd been drinking them too) I'm feeling good and said she should come out with us sometime, and get her number. She gives it to me, area code from my hometown, turns out shes from somewhere near it. She also was not nearly as playful with any of the other customers.
IOI's for the night:
Every time she came to talk to the table or group she'd make sure some part of her was touching me, normally her leg against mine, every now and then I'd press back with mine so she'd know I wasn't a table, and she'd push back the same. This along with hair twirling happened throughout the night, as well as y phone being on the table and her walking over and started playing with it. Now at hooters I'd blow this off, but at a college pub the girls just serve drinks here, don't flirt. I also wasn't the one paying the tabs, so it's not like I influence the tip much.
Sent her a text two days later, no reply. Thinking about waiting till next week to actually call and setup something to do, or maybe we wander back there (it's on bar row). From here, what would ya'll recommend doing? Shes a beaut and had a spunky personality that seems like it would be fun to have around, not necessarily date (theres a lot of bitchy sorority girls here)
Also, what are better wys for asking for numbers than come hang out with us or drink with us or anything... I try ot make it seem nonthreatening and innocent but that doesn't always set me up good later. That's one area I would like some script on.
