Hey guys, I am new to this and just had a few questions. 1. How do I overcome my approach anxiety? I don't get it, I am in retail and I approach people all the time about products and all that but not when it comes to an HB. 2. There is this HB at work that I really like but I don't know how to ask her out. We talk and joke around all the time, I am extremely C&f around her and usually make her laugh, but then nothing. Any suggestions? I also don't want to make it awkward to be around her if she says no. Thanks, guys |

well you could start by casually asking her to have coffee after work or something like that. example is like: hey let's head to star bucks. coffee would be like heaven after this shift. at least if she says no, she wont have a clue about your true intentions and it wont be awkward the next time you see each other. if she says yes, that will be a great opportunity to talk more intimately and its easier to hangout again. |

I think I may try the coffee after work thing. There is a Starbucks about 200 feet from where we work so it would be a quick trip and maybe less awkward cause it is not like I am going "out of my way" to be with her. Another question, talk about work or leave it at work? |

Coffee thing is a good way: hey, im grabbing some coffee, you should join me. (dont ask, tell) Leave the work at the work, you talk to her about work, she will continue to view you as another coworker. thats not what you want. |
