I know this is proabably a very common question. But i'm intrested to know what peoples general tactics are with regards to dealing with the initial approach anxiety.

This is the biggest thing I'm working on...I usually have little problem after that, other than I've been clunky...that's why this forum and PUA tools I'm interested in.

Watch VH1's "The Pickup Artist" and realize practice may not make perfect, but you definatley get more comfortable in talking to strangers. It's honestly practice to make it easier...you've just got to get out and do it.

there's a lot of ways to do this.. search on this forum and you will find tons of ways to do get over your AA.. If I were you, before you go out during the day or night, wherever you will be goin.. say a number! That number will be the amount of people you will be doing small talk throughout the day.. and make it realistic! don't say "today, i'm thinking of the number 1" BULLSHIT! it's the WHOLE day! so tell yourself.. today i'm going to talk to 20 random people..

now if you're not comfortable with this.. GOOD.. it's one way to get out of your comfort zone.. don't worry... i'm not sayin to have a full on conversation.. simple eye contact and a smile with a HI or How you doing? make sure you're not giving out a creepy look.. so practice at home IF you want.. in front of a mirror.. make sure you increase your number until you feel like you could go up to someone comfortable without sweating your balls sack!

now after you get comfortable with this.. do the same thing again.. but this time.. think about open ended questions.. (question that's not answered with a yes or no.. if you didn't already know that.. ) this is going to be up to you.. and do this again..
