This HB8 just broke up with her bf, but she doesn't know why she still loves him. I could tell she is trying to get over him, but I know this will just take time. She has been texting me on the reg and we have been hanging out all the time. How should I play this?

Kind of sounds like she is using you as an emotional sponge but we need more detail on this "hanging out". Any kissing or kino at least? The important thing is that you are not in the friend zone or game over.

Exactly! It does seem (base on what little we know) that she's throwing her emotional problems your way. I had this happen to me and I straight up told the girl, "Seems like all you do is worry about that one guy. Do you ever try to have fun without thinking about him?" Worked like a charm. Also why exactly did she break up with him? Was it for you?

Not always. You can turn it around sometimes, but you have to be strong with your statements of disinterest in her BF problems. Been in the same situation before and it worked for me.

Listen to her problem, acknowledge it, and then move the conversation on to something else. If she is THAT emotionally messed up, tell her to do tapping on youtube.
