My closet consists of polos, t-shirts and a few dress shirts. I refuse to buy name brands (Hollister, Abercrombie, etc) cause they're so mainstream. Who pays $40 for a pair of pants anyway?! Anyway, how would suggest dressing to impress women?
AFC Adam can wear a t-shirt and pick up girls, but then again he's AFC Adam..

One thing that I do when I go clothes shopping is I bring my women friends. I'll get 2 or 3 female friends that are strictly friends but can pull guys on their own and get their opinions on things. What clothes would attract them? What colors? Styles? Matching?

You might have to give in and buy some name brands. Granted, the man makes the clothes, the clothes dont make the man, however some women (esp in south FL) like to see the namebrands, and like to see that you're willing to spend a solid piece of your income on making yourself look good, not just buying the $5.99 shirts from target or kmart.

The problem with polos is that everyone wears them these days. It isn't that they look bad, but it won't make you stand out. As far as Abercrombie and Hollister, I'm glad you don't wear those. I can't stand it when guys wear shirts with those labels stretched in big, bold letters off their chest. The labels aren't impressive and the shirts do not look good.

Ok so that is what not to wear....as far as what to wear...you need to find your own personal style. There are many correct answers about what to wear, but it depends on what you feel comfortable in. That is my main tip, make sure you still feel like yourself because if you are uncomfortable or feel fake, then you will appear less confident. That said, tshirts and jeans convey a laid-back personality and can totally work. If you are looking for something just a little less casual, grab a blazer to throw over the tshirt and rock it with some good jeans and sneakers (fashion sneakers or european style....not athletic sneakers).

I do ! hahaha, Buffalo, Guess ...

I agree with Bonita it all depends on your personal style.

Like Ace said "the man makes the clothes, the clothes dont make the man" so stand in front of the mirror and look at yourself and ask whats is your own style and then take it to the next level. Like if you like T-Shirts, go with the "Tattoo" style (Age plays too), like Monarchy or EdHardy or TLFY (my favourite) , that type and they also look pretty peacock so you will be noticed easily. If you like dress up shirts, look like the owner of the club, get some nice dress shoes and just shine. :D

You can't just ask how dress up to impress women, there is a lot of factors playing, you gotta take in consideration, if you are fat, skinny , tall, short, what do you like, what are you comfortable with, how old are you etc.... with all that in mind I think it would be much easier to give you a general idea what to wear for your type of persona.

I nromally make sure that my jeans are fresh, I got sum nice cuts that took me ages to find, im a perfectionist with what I wear.

If im going to a bar, then I will wear nice jeans and an outrageous tshirt usually. I own alot of Marc Ecko t's as they generally have some really visceral imagery. I have a kool one where there is a massive snake on the front of it, but if u look closely its makde up of tiny Rhino's. I find its a good conversation peice when people see the t shirt.

Other than that sort of style, when I rock out in the city its either suited n booted, or suit jacket with decent jeans and a shirt. I got for pinstripe alot because it suits me more.

I tend to buy whole outfits when I go shoppin and always like the poster above says, take a woman with me for a validated opinion. I go with my mates sister, or my bro and his fience.

I think whatever u wear u need to be comfortable in, if u dont normally wear suits ur going to find it out rocking into a venue wearing one. U either gotta make the break and change it up completely or just work some smaller peacocking items in etc.

Every girl goes for summin different and styles always change up, so just keep ur attire fresh, dont wear the same garms every time ur in the same venue and just look after urself.

I do agree tho in some areas u will need to be picking up labled clothing

I like to wear a band t shirt I look good in of a band I know and like, preferably a colorful one with a cool design, not a black one with the band's name printed on it. Plus if she likes the band she will PROBABLY mention it, then you already have something in common.

I'm not saying wear those exclusively but a stylin' band t always works well for me.

where what you wanna wear...it doesnt matter

clothes are a magic pill that make people think that poof if I have this, girls will automatically find me attractive! Then they'll approach me and be like OMG UR CLOTHES R SO HAWT LETS GO HAVE SEXX0RZ!!!

it doesn't work that way. Clothes mean ABSOLUTELY nothing...wear what you want to wear...If you want a new pair of $200 glasses by dior then go out and get them

but get them for YOU to build the identity that YOU want - not for anyone else.

I second that, Purlee.

What you wear really doesn't matter as long as it looks good on you. I normally just wear a t-shirt and khaki shorts, with one interesting item: ring, glasses, belt, etc.
The best thing you can do is work out. If you do weight training and can fill out a shirt ok, anything will look good on you.

If you have to spend $500 on clothes to attract a girl you're not a pick up artist are you?

You don't have to do any one thing to pick up women but wearing well fitted clothes helps, it is a DHV in itself.

Now I am going to try and be really fucking clear here so people don't misinterpret me again, just because clothes fit well and are stylish doesn't mean they are expensive. Dressing like a tramp will allow you to get some women but when gaming women you are being judged by them on the same things they judge themselves and they don't wear crap clothes.

The key is to make it look like you actually cared when you put it on in the morning. There is not special dresscode as long as you have a style. Look at Pink, it is crappy and looks like she does not care but in fact there are several hours, days, weeks of thought behind that outfit...
