Post subject:  gaming at work

Hello,

I didn't have much time for game lately. I was thinking to practice at my job.

I work as a sales associate in hardware store. So that means there's not many ladies that come in to shop, it's usually women in their 40's or even older, but sometimes I get a occasional IOI from females that are my age, I'm also one of the few young guys working as actual sales person, most of them are 30+.

So my questions to you guys are:

1) Is it possible to practice a few things on customers? Maybe some social skills, or other things. Maybe body language....or I don't know. Any tips?

2) I'm a sales associate, so I approach a lot. I have to come up with good openers to interest my customer, plus I'm young, trying to sell a product to older and more experienced people than me, sometimes it can be challenging. So, the question is: How do I open more effectively and create ''attraction'', maybe ''push-pull'' or anything else? I also need some closing tips, that would work in both cases, where the customer buys the product or does not.

3) Just give any tips and advices on how to practice game at work, while communicating with customers.

sure,
running openers... telling DHV stories... building openers... the trick is really to keep any Kino or attraction building to a minimum at best... advised non-exsistant..
last thing you need is for someone to complain and loose your job because your "practicing a f-close" at work hehe

hmm I would replace attraction with building rapport... utilizing empathy.. identifying with the customer... stuff like that...

as for closing...the best sales guys I know make you want to buy from them.. even if not now.. you WANT to send people to them and "help them out" cus they are cool and your their new Buddy...
