hey lads, first off i apologize if this is in the wrong section i thought id put it here.
Ok i have a bit of a problem.

im going to a birthday party on sunday night and i know my ex will be there.
havent seen her since the split(we ended really bad). She is a 10 with HUUUGE bitch shields and probably turn her back if i say hello to her if we bump into each other. I havnt been gaming in about a month, ive had a few problems and havnt been doing too good lately.

But the thing is we will be in the same cirlce so im wondering how i should act?
I was thinking constant laughing, joking, chatting with every1 and be the social guy. I havnt had a gf since ( I dont want 1 right now i did about 7 or 8 1 night stands). should i neg her? should i ignore her if shes bitchy? thing is i dumped her and in the circle some guys are gonna say WHY DID U DUMP HER BRO LOOK AT HER, you know? i wanna give the feeling im doing better without her because she WILL try and put me down. any1 any ideas?

any advice would be great. thanks guys.

Your thinking too much about the situation... best believe she's not stressing as much as you are right now. :wink: Honestly the best advice is to go and enjoy yourself. Almost anything you do, will be awkward if you over do it. Don't tease her, don't try to be nice, if the relationship ended badly, flirt with other girls in there subtly... If you do so happen to run into her, just give a nice genuine smile, say Hi and keep it moving.

Social circles are there for a reason... to allow you to be social. Bring a digital camera with you, take ridiculous pics of you and close friends. Drink a little and talk alot. Be social man... in the field things are always constant and changing, let whatever happen... happen. Don't plan anything, only plan on having one of the best times of you're life.

Try not to pay too much attention to your ex that night (cause you already know every guy will be). Post a full field report after the event and PM me so I can know how it went.

I agree...just try to have fun. I have an ex out there and I have yet to have that first encounter although its just around the corner I know. My plan is to just go easy and not think about it.

When her and I were together I wasnt very happy. Now that it is over, I am not going to give her the power to make me unhappy anymore. I wont let her keep me from doing anything that I want to do.

Keep your chin up. You are the prize and even though you ended it, you did so b/c she wasnt worth putting up with anymore. She didnt give you what you wanted so its her bad, not yours.

Just have fun and be social. Some would say to be sure to hook up with a girl and rub it in her face, but I disagree. Showing that you are truly indifferent is the key to this situation, as well as moving on.

If you play games and try to make her jealous, whats it for? Do you want her back? Do you want to fuck her one last time? No doubt either of those are impossible things to accomplish. The fact is that its over for a reason, dont go back on what you know is right.

do give her a warm smile and a hi, upon initially seeing her.

do not make small talk with her.

do keep it moving.

do take lots of fotos.

do subtly flirt with the other chick-a-dees in the spot.

have fun.

Hey guys, just read everything you put in this post.

I recently had to put my balls in line & see the ex out in a local club. I just stayed myself being the 'social guy that talks to everyone & just has all the fun'. It worked a treat as i was getting proximity from her the whole night, while speaking to all the girls in the place. I think the other girls noticed this and just increased my social proof even more.

Then next day, i see her walking home after work, we get chatting & i say LJBF to her. Could tell that she is still into me but im just going to keep her as a friend and have her for social proof. Awesome!
