Alright guys, I’m new to all this. I’m not a PUA, far from it - my inner game is nowhere near where it needs to be - so this is more of a curiosity thing really. I was just wondering… Where in the UK do you think is the easiest to pull? I’m thinking cities or towns rather than particular venues but is the venue more important than the area? Do you vary your style depending on where you are in the country? Where do you think the girls are most/least attractive etc? I know I should be out there finding out for myself but I’m not really at that stage yet so I was just interested to know your opinions for future reference lol. Cheers! |

Well im from Reading and unless your a footballer then the girls just look at you like your some sort of leper, you cant even get game started on most of the girls here let alone a success! I have found pretty much anywhere better than here, Birmingham's really good, i always find allot of girls want to talk to you there and also Brighton is quite a friendly place |

Uni towns are good, Oxford has gorgeous women with some intellect to boot. I change my game depending on where I go etc but find my game is very specific, uni town clubs are where I shine. |

Fuck me! Im in the centre of Birmingham, and am definitely missing out. Fwiw, it is a good place for pick up, people seem fairly talkative. But the best girls, imo, are in Kent. |

Preston here. I find a few venues that i goto regularly, alot of the women are there every week, and they tend to go there to look cool, and hang with the crowd, not get chatted up by some chump wanting to get his end away, its a typical scene where the chicks are 'too cool' for one another, and wouldnt be seen dead talkging to a chump. This is the type of place u really need 2 apply solid game, and sweep them off their feet....easier said than done if ur just starting off. hehe |

Come on guys! We all know all places are GOOD for pick-up! University is a pretty good place to play, many good useful openers, negs, stories etc you can use many which they can relate to because everyone is in the same shoes. I disagree with the whole celebrities are here so game doesnt work thing; im not being an arse hole but how do you think PUA's survive in LA and most of the major cities in America, I mean they all have many celebrities? The whole idea of game is it transitions any of the celebrity crap because you potray a higher value, and if they are soooo much higher value then you, you shotgun neg them! *bang* and the dirt is gone! Stop screaming females im not saying you are dirty here but your bitch shields are lol! Digging graves for myself, I give up Spark. |

I think generally places your not from or near work better, especially if theres a noticeable difference in accent because you always get asked where your from and makes conversation and a bit more interesting than the local lads! |

I live in London, Central/West end is where I go out clubbing mostly, but at uni I also try/tried to do my thing. but generally I don't have a preference just more to do with the situation tbh. |

Haha I'd agree typically girls in Reading aren't very fun/sociable! They are a lot more worried about posing etc than enjoying themselves. It doesn't help the town has very little soul so everyone is pretty dull on the outset! There is sometimes a nervous edge to the SPAM which doesn't promote approaching, somewhat over self conscious americaness. Its always going to go better in an area you're not from as your immediately an interesting outsider. Although this thread kind goes against the whole theory of game. Girls are all the same. There seems to be a common theme of where we are from not being the optimal gaming situation. Perhaps there is a little room on our part, inner game wise to treat where we normally go out as somewhere new and exciting to get us motivated again. Be it try a new club / bar or a scene you wouldn't normally go to in order to refresh your surroundings a little! In short -> maintain the 'don't give a shit attitude' to partying in your home town as you would away from home! Uni towns definitely have the perk of a consistent supply of young attractive, successful sets of girls. |

hey bro. I'm in RDG too. I don't know about the footballer thing but I agree that the women are very very cold to approaches. I always put that down to the surfeit of chav tw@ts hitting on anyone with a pulse. The off-the-beaten-track places like Afrobar, Global and Iguana are so much better for meeting interesting women than Ivory Lounge and its ilk. |

Global seems a little clique'y and slightly older mixed groups. But in general those 3 are good but small and tend not to be very busy! Sakura is a good happy medium, HB's with some personality/class. Ponana used to be awesome. Oakford is a good one, and plug and play. |

You both from Reading aswell then? I think the main problem is just attitude with everyone, guys and girls! Its really not a friendly place to be so i think thats why allot of people go out in their circle of friends and then stick to that circle rather than meeting new people. Tbh im very new to this so havent actually tried to 'game' anyone yet but my experience from general natural game is that its very hard to get with a girl in the town, ive had a few successes but its pretty rare |

Its tough! Anywhere away from home is easier! But thats good because if you can make it work here you can do it anywhere. |

You are right.. why is it soo much easier to pull away from home? Maybe it is because you don't know anyone and as a result don't care if you make a fool of yourself. and yes accent is a major player! Even if they don't like it, it still works!! Places in u.k. good for pulling.. Liverpool Leeds Newcastle Brighton Manchester (there is a place called area 51 open until real late.. all the off duty strippers go there) I imagine London would be.. so much variety.. On another note the reading accent is great!! met a couple of girls from down there and I love it! |

sure am from reading dude. grew up around here, moved back after uni cos i've got such a huge friendship group in rdg i couldn't keep away! globals cliquey but i know the people who run it so its not a huge problem for me. not good for pulling though - good observation. as for the Oakford, i've always found it to be full of drugged-up high maintenance indie twats...get through a field of noel fielding/russell brand wannabes just to get to the bar! That said, I've got a mate who met up with some guys from the style life forums on friday night and did the run of the cocktail bars - pure canned material all the way, but given that it was his first time sarging he did OK. however result: loads of opening, very little transition, zero closing. personally i've found cocky/funny suits my naturally outgoing, sarcastic personality pretty well. it's just a case of holding your frame when the shit tests start flying! |
