Hello everyone, aside from reading the book by Geoffrey Miller, has anyone watched his speech on dvd 3 of david deangelo's advanced series? I have, and im confused. He mentions the study done by David Buss and also mentioned that the following list represents both good gene fitness and good provider indicators: kindness intelligence adaptability exciting personality good health creativity sense of humor he talks about how guys try and go the indirect route - med school, nice car, big house, nice clothes, money, etc.....but everything we need is right inside of us (see above list). So we don't need to be financially stable? making 30k a year or 100k is absolutely irrelavent? exercising is a waste of time? So ideally women are looking for the qualities on the above list and will not look for trade-off's between males (ie. your good dad material but your face is ugly and she boinks someone else behind your back so her kid isn't ugly like you). I guess what im trying to do is reach a solid undertanding of this information. How does one attain fitness indicators that show both good genes and good provider qualities - because as Geoffrey Miller mentions, most animals can do nothing to change themselves, but humans can. I'm working on the exciting personality and confident part as all of us are, but Its not like I lack kindness, intelligence, adaptability, sense of humor, and the rest of them - but...still no girlfriend.... what am I not understanding here? |

what your not understanding, is that this is ONE GUYS VIEW of how women are attracted to men and your eating it up...... your putting to much importance on scientific stuff and not enough on just walking up to them and saying hey! or asking an opinion with some cocky and funny thrown in and looks matter to a point cause at first glance if a girl doesnt find you appealing what you think is gonna happen?.....no attraction at the moment unless your really good at what you do... and if your attractive to her, well thats just a little less hard you have to work to get her...basically if she finds you hot you could walk up to her and give a decent effort of whatever game you have and get her.....just keep in mind dont revert back to bein a bitch and doing what she wants..... all that scientific shit do you really believe it? and follow it? if you do well, id stop |
