It seems that every girl I fall for has way too much drama. The ones that I hang out with that are easygoing and low-drama I get bored with. Anyone got anything profound to say about this? |

True, they are interesting. But there is something to be said for a girl that is totally drama-free. However, on the flip side of that, there is something to be said for a crazy chick too. I am a firm believer that the grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence. That goes for lots of things, women and relationships included. I guess my point is that a crazy dramatic chick is fun for a romp. But if you are looking for anything more, think about what you like and especially what you dislike about a girl and really take a good look at it. Its a guarantee that you will see a lot more of both b/c people dont change. |

I'm gonna go ahead here and play devil's advocate. Perhaps you like these crazy girls because they make up for something that you lack. Their crazy life can be exciting but it can also be taxing. But maybe you find it exciting because you lack the ability to create exciting events yourself. You feed off of other's energy and need their energy to have a good time. But when you are with the drama-free girl, she isn't giving you that energy that you crave so you are bored. Ideally you would like to incorporate the fun and thrill of the crazy girl with the drama-free attitude of the other girl. If that is possible to find, then great, you hit the jackpot! But that may be difficult to find....so instead of relying on the girl to create the energy, try being the catalyst for once. You should be the guy creating the energy and excitement, which may get the laid-back girl all fired up. Try that and see how it goes. |

Actually, I have a really great life and manage to have a lot of fun and excitement, while still remaining fairly laid back and drama-free myself. Women that I date, both the crazy wild ones and the more laid back ones always enjoy spending time with me because I always manage to have a great time. Ideally you would like to incorporate the fun and thrill of the crazy girl with the drama-free attitude of the other girl. If that is possible to find, then great, you hit the jackpot! However, what you said did strike a chord in that it may be that b/c I myself am drama-free, I am looking for the drama that they provide b/c I guess that drama is, in itself a bit of excitement. I dont know how healthy that is but I think that may be what is goin on. What do you think? |

I think that is a very real possibility. I find that I have a lot of friends with drama because I myself do not have much. They want someone to listen to them, so they love having friends with no drama, and I like having someone to listen to, so having someone who has a lot to say is good for me. Every notice that people with a lot of drama don't particularly hang out with other people with a lot of drama. If you try and tell them about your problems, they dismiss them rather quickly and get back to their problems? There has to be a balance or else it will be a fight for the attention. I'd say it is okay to get involved with a little bit of their drama if you enjoy it, but don't let it consume you. |
