This is the sticking point for every guy getting into the game, from sitting in the dark corners of the bar ogling all the hot chicks, to actually (gulp!) approaching them!
I think AA, more than anything else, turn guys away from the game. Yes, the theory is sound, they know it works but at the point of truth they bail out, hiding behind their beer and continue to ogle the chicks from their dark corner instead.
I know how you feel, I was there about three months ago (shit..I've been in the game that long? Time flows when you're having fun I guess), I'd work myself up all week, getting geared up for the weekend, going to the club, seeing the chicks and then... I didn't approach. It started getting so bad, I was dreading the weekends, not looking forward to them anymore because I knew I had to face the horrible, horrible AA. One friday I came up to the door of the club and then just turned away.. No, I couldn't take it, I wasn't cut for this gameshit, it was for more confident people, I would just have to settle down with the first and best chick I could find, marry and have kids. Tears streaming down my cheeks I just went home and felt miserable.. And then, out of the blue came the solution to overcoming AA, it was so simple I started laughing out loud, I literally ran back to the club and opened every damn set I could find! Fast forward five hours and I was sitting on some random dudes couch making out with a chick I met at the club.
So what's the big secret? Well, since you seem like such a nice guy, I'll share it with you:

The secret to overcoming AA is: APPROACH!!!!
Yepp, it's that simple. It may sound stupid (after all, AA is stopping you from approaching right?), but think about it. The only way to beat a fear is facing up to it. And if you don't have the balls to do it, then sucks to be you mate, you can have one of the left-over girls after me and the community have had our pick.
So here's what your gonna do buddy: Write down FIVE different openers (make up your own, or search the forum). When you get down to the club, you WILL approach the first woman you see and start with your first opener. Don't give a damn about what her response will be, who the hell does she think she's anyway? If she blows you off, she just lost the change of being around the coolest guy in Canada. Do NOT leave the club before you've run through every opener you've written down!
Approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach, approach and approach! AA will disappear quicker than a womans panties in my bed. And it will be worth it, I can promise you a lifetime of fun if you just get over that little hurdle.

lol) I am a pretty good-looking person, have a great sense of style, will get compliments almost everytime i go out, I simply have AA most of the time. I rarely will be able to go up to a girl and start up a conversation. I feel as though I NEED IOI's to approach, I want to be able to conquer that so that I can be able to approach anytime, anywhere, no matter how beautiful. I have heard many good ideas on how to overcome this such as the mall conquer- saying Hi to every girl you see. I would like to know and hear from anyone who has some insight in helping out...
