Stay Calm "I saw this girl and she looked at me and smiled does she like me?" "A girl added me on msn how can I fuck her?" "A girl I know touched my arm today does she like me and how do I get her to be my girlfriend?" "My sister has a really hot friend and I sometimes talk to her and want her so bad, last night she said I would be nice if we were in a relationship and then smiled and changed the topic. What does this mean?" I'm sure this seems very familiar to you, just take a look in the Newbie Questions forums to see what I mean. Guys that get over excited trough MINIMUM encounter with the other sex. Seriously, I see some everyday things in there that I and allot of other guys don't even think about later on. Small interactions; eye contact and holding hands etc. I guess that can make a desperate AFC's heart pump allot harder but come one fellas! We can do better then this! Why get so excited about nothing? Creating all kinds of hopes, thinking way to far that should and then be disappointed when nothing comes of it. Or too take it a step higher; guys that made out with a girl last week and ask here how they can get a repeat of the event or get her to become their Girlfriend. It's exactly this kinds of thinking that make women stay away from you and make the TIC not answer your simple questions. Imagine what the girl would be thinking in the exact same situation, I bet she doesn't spend half as much time as you thinking about what happened and what not. It's their role to fiddle about all kinds of little things and you should not be taking that role over. I can understand that for guys that never have any interaction with women that these things seem very special but to some of us you seem well...Let me put it in a sporting example for you. We're playing a soccer match and everybody is doing what they are expected to be... then I pass the ball to you and you shoot it away and get all excited and be like "Oh My GOD! I kicked the ball! Did you see that! I kicked it with my right foot! Yes I did! What should I do know?" VoodooChild: "You should run to another position and try to get the ball and kick it again perhaps? (sarcasm included)" As you can see, in the sport perspective you can see how retarded it sounds to other players when you start screaming about how you kicked the ball. To other players it's the most natural thing to do but to those who've never kicked a ball I can understand it's a really exciting adventure and that you may lose your logical thinking. That's why I made this post; stay calm and sober and always try to get to the next level of challenge...don't drool to long about the basic stuff and move on upwards and eventually you will see how cool your head stays when a girl, sigh, smiles at you or touches your hand (and you don't blush haha). For me it has gone so far that I don't get excited very easily anymore. I remember that I used to have a real high heart rate when going in for the kiss and being pretty nervous and have shaking hands that I tried to hide haha. I would stay happy for days after having made out with a new girl. Now I'm not nervous at all, no heart pumping harder then usual and sometimes I even forget all about it the next day if I'm distracted enough. I'm much calmer now and don't let small things like interactions with women mess up my head. User Signature |
