So a week later after we broke up I texted her hey can I get item a b and c back. Never responds so I never text her again. 3 months later she textes me sorry I never replied to your text and sorry I never got your stuff back I got my car back today so I'll do that as soon as I can. Hope u r well. I told her I wasn't Im town and she said she can drop it off at my house and I told her with my friend is better. What can I think and make of this? Why did it take so long? |

When a couple breaks up, the pride issue usually comes into play. The last person that initiated contact is the loser. It's weird. Basically she took those 3 months to get over you, and past the pride issue. Wait..did you break up with her or vise versa? anyways, regardless that's the deal. Once she was over those issues she was like "oh I've still got this guy's stuff". And she's being nice giving it back to you. Doesn't necessarily mean that she's trying to start anything up again by contacting you. |

Well we went about 10 months through senior year and summer. End of summer I broke it off cuz of lack of trust and me wanting to expirence new girls in my first year of college. We both fell for eachother hard and she took the breakup really hard. We said we were together but not together together. We still hooked up and held hands everytime I came back to town we still talked on the phone everyday. We had a rule no hooking up with anyone even thoe at one point she was making out with a couple guys and I found out. But we got back on track and shit went on. When I came back home for Christmas break and a little before that she always had an exscuse not to have sex just kiss. I figured she was prolly banging someone else we got in fights all the time and when we hung out it sux'd. We mutually ended it over an angry text message fight. This was like 3 months ago as it's it's our 2nd year In college. |

K the main points are: 1. When you had an agreement not to hook up with anyone else, she broke it, twice that you know about. (this goes back to the fact you don't feel you can trust her). 2. She wouldn't have sex with you and you suspect she was sleeping with another guy.. 3. When you hang out, it sucks. So why do you want to get back with her man? Chief's right. get your stuff back and go. I was in a very similar situation recently, right down to the years in college and distance and everything, and I've decided that the best thing for me is to just make a clean break and not try to maintain a friendship. That reminds me she's still got my sweater...shit |
