Post subject:  guitar players

hey guys

right so recently i was wondering about making those moments, back at your place more special by playing a song...

i picked up my guitar played Breaking Benjamen's - rain
you tube type in
rain - breaking Benjamin
that is the link for the most beautiful song i have heard for a long time.

im pretty sure the song is instant hit, but i was wondering...

when should i play it?
i have tried this like twice both after doing something

but i don't really think it was a good time...

should i play this to sweeten her heart before i make a move?
or after to show i have a softer, musical side :)

and on another note
should i try to pick up an ex, from 2 years, we are getting on well i have spoken for almost 2 years....shall i make some suggestions see if i get an IOI?
help!

if you go to your room and the target sees your guitar, they will prob say "ooo woow you play guitar" and you could say "ye im a bad ass rockstar..wanna see" - play that song and then that will sweeten the mood..put the guitar down and get close :)

i usually massage before closing!

and if the target doesn't notice the guitar or doesn't seem interested?
should i just come out with... i learnt a song, tell me what you think?

Why make extra work for yourself? if she is in your room and is getting a massage etc why break the moment to play guitar, your work is already done.

I'm a little bit out of this world right now but i think i understand your question. What i do is always leave the guitar on the bed, so if we go to my room she is going to sit down and obviously has to move the guitar first and then i either take it and start playing or shell ask me about it

that's a good idea... but i have two drum kits in my room which takes up most of the space as well lmao!

thanks!

I play guitar, and generally, I just throw it in if the situation arises. It can make an excellent DHV, but if you look like your playing it, for the sake of impressing her - that'll lower your value.

I find it's generally best as a "deal closer". Just before closing, crack out a little tune.

I remember my previous girlfriend mentioned my guitar, I picked it up and said "This is what you'd sound like in song form :P"

Code:
e-------------------------------------------------------- B------------------------------------------------------- G---------4-----------4----------4--------------4------ D------2-----------4----------2----2--------4-----4--- A----4----------2----------4--------------2------------ E--0---------0------------------------------------------ Then finger picked the chords a few times in a row.
About half way through she was crying.

proceed to close.

That's the best way IMO.

If you're playing her an actual song, and unless it's a sick distinguishable song that she's familiar with and you're pro at guitar, otherwise make sure you can sing.

I found out the hard way. Just playing a vague tune makes you look like a dumbass hahaha

I've got a ukulele, would that work?

What about if you made her have a go? Make her wear it, then snuggle up behind and show where to put her fingers hehe.

i think the ladies need to realise its the drummer who got the rhythm...

<---

i never completely understood what it is exactly about the guitar that makes em so wet is it the creative aspect of a guitar player or something.

It's the cool factor. Drummers are tucked up in the back, getting barely any attention. Even if you do something cool. No one see's it.

Guitarists, get tons of attention, up front, look awesome, and sound awesome - Especially during a solo.

It's the whole "Rockstar" image they go for. Which is full of DHV's. Drummer's don't get associated to the same "Rockstar" image, therefore don't get the associated automatic DHV's.

That's my theory.
