Ok a little background info on myself. I just recently moved back to MI from VA Beach. I live in the Detroit metro area, and here is the current state of living that I (dont)enjoy...and what I'm trying to do to fix the issues I am having. 1) Currently jobless -Working on this...having money is pretty much req'd to do the PUA thang...at least in clubs or bars. Michigan just really really sucks with the current state of jobs...fuck. This is due to recently moving to MI...not due to laziness! 2) Living with Parents -This will be fixed as soon as I can find and maintain a decent job. The downside of this is that not having your own place lowers your value...and it really sucks if you don't have a pad you can bring the HBs to. Moving cross country puts a damper on things like this =/ 3) Standard social/approach anxiety -Probably the most common problem a newb PUA has...but I am working on it. I'm going out more when I have the time, I'm an active Wing for my friends who have decent game, and it helps out alot. Just being around a social scene will eventually suck me in and make me more sociable. I def. need to work on my Alpha skills though...they lack something fierce. ....So yeah...that's about it for me. I'm posting this because I want to hear what yall have to say about it, basically what have I missed or what do you all think I should do to get myself on the right track as an up and coming PUA? I've read quite a bit on the site here, and I'm just looking for an order of operations kind of. Should I go out and try some of these openers?(even if they seem a bit advanced.) Should I just read more? Or should I just roll with it and take care of business as I'm hit with new situations? Thanks in advance for any and all help. |
