Im borrowing my friends Mystery Method: How to get beautiful women into bed. He was also asking if I wanna borrow Double your Dating. Which one is better in your opinion b/c its a lot to read... |

You're not going to learn everything you need from just one book. I've read a lot less than most guys I know and my list is still in the double digits. I suggest you start with DYD. MM is ok, but structured stuff can mess with your head and because pick-up has become so mainstream lots of women can identify it these days. Don't focus on the lines, focus on understanding the underlying principles. |

Man, I've probably read 50+ books/ebooks, and dozens of hours of video/audio, granted much of that is NLP/psychology/mentalisim/cold reading/other non-directly related pickup material. I was introduced to the game by the Mystery Method and at first I was all exited "shit, if I run these routines here, and isolate there..." but it was incongruent, mundane, unenjoyable, and disingenuous for me. It didn't match my style and persona at all, and in many ways damaged my natural game that I had. If you want to go from zero to hero (social outcast to appearing like a competent guy that gets ladies), then perhaps MM is right for you. It wasn't for me. I much prefer David Deangelo because he talks about over-arching concepts and gives a higher level frame than that of MM. You really understand the whys behind the interaction more, and unlike MM, DYD material complements your game instead of doing a complete overhaul and reshaping it. Mystery method gives you an exact, step by step process of what to do and say to land the girl. His material gives you the lowest possible level of depth to your game so you can implement it immediately and efficiently. David Deangelo instead tries to change your mindset, frame, and outlook, (greater depth) so that you will hopefully do those particular actions without direct guidance because that is you. To each their own. I prefer less structure and deeper level concepts. I really respect DD's work. |
