| Post subject: | Help with a girl in class |
So last semester there was this really cute girl in one of my classes. I tend to be the quiet kid in class, but midway through the semester this girl started to talk to me and give me clear ioi's. She would comment about my sneakers, clothes...etc. Well I never did anything about it. The semester ended and, with no other option, I sent the dreaded facebook friend request as I had no phone #. Now I just got back to school and am torn about how to re-communicate with this girl. I rarely collide with her on campus, but whenever I do she is always ecstatic to see me. I am just looking to get lunch with her because I tend to be pretty good in 1 on 1 situations like that. So if anyone has any suggestions about what I should do it would be much appreciated. I'm leaning towards the facebook wall post asking about lunch, but I don't want to come off as a creep or anything. You all know how facebook can often be viewed as "creepy" but I don't know what other option I have. I feel that just writing on her wall and being like "Yo, lunch this week?" may be my best option, but I don't know. Maybe a fbook message? but idk. So please any advice would be much appreciated. |

why use facebook? if you really want to PU her, try to get some info on where to see her, like what classes she could be taking, what faculty she's in...without her knowing of course. Note: this is ONLY in case you're not seeing her. and when you DO see her, be decisive and ask her to hang out or something! If she appears extatic, there are two possibilities: A-She's just acting: in which case you'll get a no, or a lame excuse at worst, and you can go on with your life B- She really is happy to see you and you must've done something right the first time around! You're in. good luck |

it's pretty much impossible for me to find anything out about her as I go to Penn State, which is an ENORMOUS school. So I really don't think I have any other option. Unless I want to camp out at a dining hall for a week and hope that she shows up. |

No common friends, nothing? Man i'm at a university with 5000 students and i still run into more people than i'd like, it cant be that hard Well, if you have to, Facebook isn't such a catastrophy, but i'd prefer a message over the wall. It's more discreet, at the very least, and you wont be broadcasting to her whole friend list that you were ignored in case things go south |

no we have no common friends. I didn't have my head screwed on properly last semester. I really should have a # already, but whatever. I just think that sometimes the fbook message is somewhat "creepy" but at least I wouldn't have to live with embarrassment. haha. I might just give it the weekend and hope that our paths collide and if not take it from there. |
