here are the limitations: - no car so it is hard to go places/into the city - live in a boring place - too cold right now for things like hiking - it doesn't snow so no snow ideas i am trying to think of ways i can still do an exciting date though... any suggestions? im trying my hardest not to do a boring dinner/movie. i was thinking like a day-time hike or picnic? is this a good idea or does the date need to be for sunset/after dark? ALSO, what about a fairy ride into san francisco - 3 PM. dinner, shopping for a present for mom, spontaneity, bowling possibly. thoughts!? P.S. yes i am very new |

Find a neutral place to go to that's about halfway between your respective homes. Movies does not give you opportunity to practice your game. Rather do something where you can talk while doing something. (a walk in a park, or going cycling usually works for me, and it costs nothing). |

I would say that you should forget the movies all together at this point in the interaction. The main reason for that is that neither one of you can learn anything new about each other that way. Even a dinner is much better than a movie but I would not do that on the first date together. The main point of a date is to actually talk and see if you like to be together and how well the interaction goes. I have had girls ask me out on picknicdates.

some ideas from my life, but i live in a city and have a car, so its hard to think... also... do you live by yourself? 1. invite her over and cook a later lunch for her, but warn her "she will work for her dinner by being your "kitchen rat, peeling, dishes, setting table..". a late lunch is great, cos its soon dark outside, and then light candles, no one eats and run, so you have loads of time... DONT DO DINNER. 2. tell her youre going to do some shopping and tell her to join you... or "help" you. 3. I LOVE THIS ONE. invite her over for rainy sunday Olympics; and tell her theres forfeits for the looser of each game. each round can be things like arm wresteling, but search the web for bar games, or indoor games.... its fun, its free, its kino, its f%cking original. 4. lunch cooking again, but make her bring ingredients and make the desert. then cook together in the kitchen, chatting 5. tell her to bring a bunch of "penny sweets" over to yours as currency then kick her ass at poker, board games, guessing what happenings next on the tv or sports, if there is a sports game on, bet candy on whats happening next etc etc. . . take is serious and have a lot of fun, first one who looses there sweets has to .. . . . . 6. if youre bored in your area, then she is too, so get a local guide and find something going on, free band playing in a bar, comedy night, anything... the better thing you find the more she will think you know a thing or 2. let me know if you need some more... good luck buddy |
