Alright, so here's my situation. I'm a student at a large university known for its parties. I've only recently started researching the art of pickup, but even before that I didn't have too much trouble. Almost every weekend I'm leaving a party with either a phone number or am taking a girl back with me. But one has gotten slightly attached and I feel the need to end things soon. Problem is, in the university environment, it just so happens that circumstances have led to there being a high probability of running into each other on a regular basis. So I need to let her off with no hard feelings. Anyone have any suggestions?

Right now I would just be honest and straight forward with her. Just tell her you really enjoy hanging out with her [that's if you do] as a friend and you aren't currently looking to get serious. If you're direct about it and don't say it in jerky fashion, you should be fine... unless she's like obsessing over you

Makes sense I guess. i just want to avoid any backfire since it could affect some relations with other HBs too. Thanks for the help

I would expect, if you break up, that her circle of friends will not be in to you. They will side with her and see it as betraying a friend if they were to take your side.

Normally, I would agree with that, but experience has shown me otherwise. My ex-girlfriend from two summers ago absolutely hates me til this day, but I am still close with her two best friends. Over this Christmas break I actually hung out with the two friends and they still seem to like me a lot. Maybe that's odd and it was just luck, I don't know.

GQute, is there a possibility you could just fade away over time? Not break it off or ignore her, just slowly but surely grow apart? Also, I am almost sure I have seen other threads on how to "reverse" or lose a girl you have previously gamed.

Well yea that would be the expected result. But I'm stopping this before it turns into a relationship like this HB wants. The circle of people that know both of us still like me alot too so I'm just looking for mutual grounds where nither side feels slighted

On SLA, a year ago, theRiver posted how he anti-gamed her. It was to remain in frame. Explain that you are breaking up. And show how you did not deceive her into the relationship.

I could try this method too, but we still will see each other quite often so out of sight, out of mind won't work in this case. but I will definately look into the threads ur talking about
