I just had an epiphany watching this movie. There's a part where Andy is being chased by his fellow co-worker and he finally get's him trapped, he was basically trying to run away from all this stuff they were teaching. Andy says "I respect women too much, and I love them, that's why I stay away from them". In my honest opinion I think this is a huge line. And I realized that all too often, we think were not good enough, and if we shouldn't talk to that really hot, cute, sweet girl because we don't want to burden her, or disrespect her. And im thinking FUCK THAT. Now ill be totally honest, i don't have all the confidence in the world, but I just realized, that I am actually holding back from these people meeting someone really interesting and cool, LIKE ME. Why would I do that? Why would I not allow another person( Woman or man) to not get to know me. It should be an opportunity for people to meet me. Why? Because i'm ME. I'm funny, I enjoy helping people in anyway I can, I love to have fun, and I can enjoy myself doing anything. I'm an idiot for not really seeing this before. I'm going to take this and run with. THINK about it, have you ever thought other people are boring, or their just not interesting. That's not them being not interesting, that's you not wanting to find the interesting thing about them. How do you find what's interesting about people. START WITH YOURSELF, and everyone will all of sudden seem like a treasure chest, waiting to be discovered. Let's get some feedback on this...over and out |

I love this shit samex. I have been working with exactly this for the past 2 months. First you gotta get to know yourself. The more I get to know LokeAlive, the more I understand about the underlying social dynamics that are going on. Do you ever think about how much our thoughts influence our game? No offense to anybody but people, as smart as we are, are extremely bad at predicting the future, unless there is some sort of a formula. I'm guessing that 95% of our thoughts regarding exact consequences are misguided. 99% are wrong altogether, unless we have some previous experience. The point is, no matter how much I think I know about a situation, the truth is 9/10 different than what I believe. When you know who you are, you no longer have to make excuses for your actions, at least that is my hypothesis. I'm no expert, I'm still in the process of learning, big time. Go out there and have some fun! |

Yeah your right Lockalive, great stuff, I can already see improvements in my actions just by changing this thought. |
