For day game, I wear Eddie Bauer Pure. It's light and citrusy and sweet. I wear it every day.

For night game, you'll probably want something stronger, that you can smell over cigarette smoke and whatnot. I wear Drakkar Noir.

If you want, you can help make your decision with the Cologne Opener. Get sample-size bottles of two types of cologne, dab each one on either wrist, and open by asking girls to smell each and tell you which one they like better. When they announce their decision, pull out a pen and mark their decision on your arm. By the end of the night, you should have tally marks all over each arm. Then go with the one that got the most votes, and put it up against a different cologne next time you go out.

This will help you to practice opening, and also help you pick a cologne.

Last time I did this, Davidoff Cool Water beat Hugo Boss by a pretty gigantic margin.

Also, how to apply cologne:

1. Take a shower.
2. Get out of shower. Wrap a towel around the lower half of your body. Leave the top half wet.
3. Spray five sprays of cologne over your torso, and rub it in with your hands, all over your torso, neck, and arms. DO NOT TOWEL DRY THE TOP HALF OF YOUR BODY.
4. Air-dry the top half of your body.
5. Spray one shot of cologne on the inside of each elbow, and rub the opposite wrist in each one.
6. Spray two shots of cologne on your neck.
7. Dab your fingers in the cologne you just sprayed on your neck, and rub it behind your ears.
8. Get dressed, hit club.

This is A LOT of cologne (about ten sprays), but it won't be overpowering because of the way you're applying it. Instead of just spraying an assload on your neck, you're spraying it over your entire body and letting it develop. You'll get the basenotes and everything coming out like it's supposed to, and you'll generally smell like a guy who knows how to wear cologne.

One your going to need to find your own style of cologne. What really makes the smell strong is the type of skin you have. Oily skin, dry skin, etc.

You can easily google top 10 colognes. They will give you plenty of Colognes and tell you what they smell like. I prefer Very Sexy for Him by Victoria Secret.

How I spray is different then Stormy.

1: Spray twice on your wrist.
2: Take a finger and touch your wrist where you sprayed and press it behid each of your ear.
3: Rub your wrist together.
4: Spray your neck where your adam's apple is.

Thats where I spray. I like girls to only smell me when their close to me.

Hate to say it, but check out Abercrombie. They have 3 or 4 different ones and they're all damn good. They must test this stuff on chicks or something. I wear the original one that they quit making 6 or 7 years ago. It's good but it costs double what it used to since its out of production. Its on ebay but if I weren't attached to it already I'd just go to the store. Fierce is probably the most popular one and it's damn good. That's the smell you get when you walk by the store b/c they spray the whole place every 20 mins or something.

The new I am King by sean john smell amazing! also lacoste makes about 4 or 5 diffrent ones that smell wicked! and Boss is good as well.

You should always have atleast 3 on hand because some are ment for just being out in the street and others for being in a suit.

I went to Shoppers Drug Mart today and i found some of the colognes you guys recommended. I found Drakkar Noir that Stormy suggested to be one of the best ones, i found it had a very neat smell. Most of the colognes and fragrances though are very pricy and expensive.

Im going to see if i can find the Eddy Baure Pure and David Off Cool Water. See if thats any good. Hugo Boss is alrite so i might buy that one in the near future too.

How important is it to wear a cologne? Before realizing that this community existed I was always very, "haha, guy wearing cologne.." Pretty much negative toward it, and I still find the idea of wearing it to be a bit weird. My ex used to love the smell of my Brut Original deodorant, which I'd always put a spray of on the outside of my shirt aswell as my body, is that enough or am I only limiting myself somewhat?
