Post subject:  Girl in my class. semester is over. what next?

so i got this hb8 in my class. she is more along the lines of sexy/classy then a fine ass breezy if you catch my drift. class is every monday night.

anyways. from the start of hte semester id catch her lookin in class. one day i notice she didnt show and we were given a study guide for the next weeks exam. so i randomly see her on campus the next day and shoot the shit with her about class and what not. i get her digits to hit her up about the study guide.

long story short. for the past month ive been tryin to hit her up to chill or what not but before i get the nerves to call her she texts me with my grandpa died so im like fvck this is a bad time. then prior to our final she says she isnt going to make it and that her uncle died the nite before. so i told her i will speak with the prof regarding it. tell the chick what she needs to do. and she says she owes me a drink next time she is in town (she lives like 40 mins from campus/where i live).

am i in or out? too nice? waited too long?

Lots of people dying for her; are you sure she's telling the truth? I mean, that's coincidence.

When you spoke with her in person did you get IOIs or were you just talkin' and happened to get her number at the end with the excuse of the study guide?
If you've been getting mixed messages its normally a bad thing. IF she says she owes you a drink I'd usually say something cute like

"You know how busy I am~ I can't just go out and drink with every (color of her hair) girl."

I just had the exact same situation today. I kinda let this girl that was in my accounting class this semester "get away." Well, until next semester, at least.

The length of this post is unacceptable, I realize I need to keep it shorter (I'm trying Biznatch):

"You know how busy I am~ I can't just go out and drink with every (color of her hair) girl." I like that Playerone.

I look at it thus:

I do not know your style but you seemed to be pretty sociable and chill. I'm thinking you are maybe over analyzing. Bud analyzing IS good.

What I see with my super awesome mazd skilz (I wish) is you are at a point where she has to decide. Relationship or not. Right time? Who knows. Remember girls are heavily influenced by their feelings.

Man: Alright let's put the vase there so we can drop gum in it.
Woman: What a lovely vase! Look at its intricacy it looks so... it makes me feel so...

It's double-edged sword because on one hand women can have their emotions inspired which makes it easier for guys to win them over. On the other hand seemingly retarded shit can set them off.

[Guy breaks treasured vase]

Guy: Uh-oh I think that costs about $1000.

[Realize her thoughts come mostly from how she's feeling]

Girl: Oh Jesus, he is not even careful enough to watch out for my beautiful vase. That vase made me feel so... he doesn't respect me. If he respected me he would have been more careful.

Sometimes the problem is with the girl. In order for you to get your way (usually), you have to "set your frame" I believe that is the term. You know who you are and where you are coming from. Its kind of risky but, ask her in a calm and very relaxed manner to not flake on you and tell her what she did that made you feel her flakes.

I find the attitude (that works best for me) should be like you are aggressively telling a team mate what to do EXCEPT, that you are calm nonthreatening (you really have no reason to be threatening unless you are desperate, and you are not). I'm basically saying have good body language.

You may win her you may loser her (risk), if she is emotionally strong she'll probably get the message, if she is too involved with her emotions, then maybe right now is not a good time for her. Just build that rapport using your mad style and that's about the best you can do.

Don't sweet it too much because:

1. It may come across as desperate.
2. It might tend to make you feel bad (you deserve to feel good, seriously).
3. Do you really want a flaky girl that much?
4. Didn't you say someone in her family died? That's tough stuff.

Very similar situation to me...

HB8 in one of my classes that I hit it off WELL in the middle of the semester (only about 2 months ago). Semester was over last week... and well, I kind of like her! Anyway, we have already exchanged #'s and friends on facebook. I've tried to chill several times but to no success. No idea what went wrong. Thankfully, she is in one of my classes next semester :D

So I guess my situation is a bit better.........but You could try texting her and asking her what the f is really up and if she is telling the truth. Ask if she wants to go out for some coffee......thats messed up, to miss finals.

heres another idea but alittle hard,

throw a house party girls are always down for a house party invite her and her friends. house party is an indirect approach and gets yes's and are fun as hell. invite several girls from your classes. be like a i ran through my phone inviting anyone relativly remeberable. it worked me twice. i used a mass text. i did fuck uo the second time inviting someugly chick but when i found out who it was i told her the party fell through.

I say you stop trying to talk to her before u kill anymore people!!! lol j/k

ORR you can keep trying to talk to and evetually she'll run out of relatives

ill let the experts decide, but i just had to add my two cents...
