| Post subject: | How to ask her out |
I met a girl last weekend. She was working where I was eating with some friends and when she got off she sat with us for a while. It was me and a couple that Im friends with. We chatted and laughed and it went really well. We talked about meeting up that night but never did. She did however text me all night and it just wasnt in the cards for us to meet up. Anyways, I had work the next day so never responded to her later texts and I havent spoken to her since. I wanted to text her today to get a drink later tonight. I thought about calling but she waits tables and its doubtful that she will answer a phone call. Besides, I dont want to seem like I am really interested in her but more of just wanting to meet up for a drink. I was thinking of a text that doesnt really ask a question but more of makes a statement. Something like "grab a drink tonight" with no question mark? Am I reading into this too much or would the question mark prompt merely a yes or no? Opinions |

At work I've had individual female colleagues I didn't know that well ask me to meet up for lunch with them. And at no point did I think they were interested in that way. That might also be because I can be a dozy bastard. Hmmm. Well, maybe what I'm saying is suggesting a daytime thing for a day she ain't working. Sorry if that's useless, I just didn't see any other replies... |

I think you should just text her saying "lets grab a drink on *insert day* at *Insert time*" and leave it at that. |
