"Boy you must be tired, You have been running around in my head all day." "Are you sore? You are like a star that fell from heaven." Help me out people I can't think of enough cheesy pickup lines. |

I've found out gross topics you generally want to stay away from. How you saved your roommate's life after he pucked his lungs out may be DHV, but there are limits. I've tested this out and the general responses have been "ewww, gross" and "you're gross". You occasionally get the girl that gives a positive response, but otherwise, stay away. Another one is about anything she can't relate anything to. Such topics usually include sports, video games, etc. Although sometimes you get the girl that is the exception, in which case, more power to you. But otherwise, the response will be, "uh, cool", "ok", or something that kills the conversation. |

Generally stay away from gross things, violence, war, politics, religion, exes, tons of swearing, cars, sports and other things that I'm sure you can imagine most girls aren't that interested in. Now those are GENERAL rules; there are always exceptions and actually a lot of them to be honest. What you should be doing is figuring out what type of person you are talking to and then moderate what you are talking about based upon that. I'm personally not all that much into sports, cars, politics, war or violence for the most part, yet many other guys love talking about that stuff and it either bores me, frustrates me, or offends me. I've had lots of girls tell me that because I'm guy (or a Canadian *glares at Bonita*) I should love hockey and it's an instant turn-off. So don't play to the stereotypes, discover what things the specific person is comfortable and intersted in talking about by using little tests to see their reaction to certain comments. |
