Ok so I'll try to make this short. So there is this girl that used to sit outside of one of my classes last year. Shes an HB9. This is when I was an AFC and was too afraid to approach. One of my friends knew who she was but she never introduced us. But I did get a name. Well another year of college roles by and I forget about her. Well today, I'm standing in line to vote and shes standing with a friend about 6 people in front of me. I got some eye contact but I turned AFC really quick and never held it but I tried to give off good body language and such. Well I told myself I would try to game her if I saw her after I left. Well I get done and she's nowhere in sight so I leave with my friend. As I'm walking down the street she comes out of a nearby shop and instead of stopping to open, I get extreme AA and just keep walking. Right now I'm extremely pissed at myself. I know all the way to open and what not, I simply got scared. Now here's my question. Because I know that she knows my friend (but I must say they are more like acquaintances so I cant have the friend arrange anything), I can easily contact her on Facebook. My friend actually showed me her facebook last year. Now would it be too creepy to open her with a message on facebook??? I mean i go to one of the largest universities in the nation and doubt I will get a moment like that before. Also, if you do suggests opening her on Facebook, what is the best way to do it without coming across as a creeper? Thanks Guys! -Patience |

See how she responds, then go for a meeting over coffee, beer, walk in the park, whatever. |

I think a facebook message like Rye lee posted would be absolutely fine and in no way "stalkerish". I've got to ask you though is talking to her on facebook going to make you get over your AA? Do you believe when you do set up a meeting you wont get nervous come off as nervous in her eyes? Sorry if that came off as a bit ass holeish but i just wanted to put that out there, inspire some thought possibly? |

Anything to the extent of I know this may be random and all but I've wanted to introduce myself to you but my nerves have always gotten the best of me. I figured I may not get a chance in person anytime soon so here it is.. You'll probably want to reframe on the next message though because you're somewhat giving her power.. but I'm betting it will get her interest going |
