Girl text me out the blue, we're not friends we used to be close but it drifted away...

randomly texts me saying "i love you mr:) (name) x"

shes a bit of a tease tbh.

come prove it! Ha i dont know it could be a lot of fun, she seems quite playful im sure you cant throw her off with almost anything in texts. Make sure to throw in the little pet names when ever you text her, this sounds like fun :D.

yep, she's just havin fun, bro. that's kinda how girls talk. it does not mean "I LOVE YOU AND WANT TO HAVE BABIES AND GET MARRIED RIGHT NOW!"

It's flirting. Flirt back. :D

i tend to agree with sean on this one... virtually every girl i know says love you at the end of a texting conversation. now as for out of the blue like the text you got.... i would text back one of these

"so ive heard"
"Really?! o my god my life is now complete!!!:)"
"i love....cake?"
"who is this?"
"baby, to tell you the truth, i love you too. i havent stopped thinking about you since the day we parted ways. youre everything to me. i never thought you would call or text again. i am now the happiest man alive. i need you here with me right now."

ok the last one was a joke, but seriously the rest of them should work. i also like the "i love me too" that was posted earlier.

One's I've used/my favourites are: "I love you too!"; "I love me too!"; and "Prove it!". Seem to work pretty well.

"I know."

Harrison Ford said it best.
