I never though i would be asking this question.. but where i am at geographically, i am being bombarded when i go out with woman and their advances.. and alot of them i would never want to think about being with in any way... so my question is... How can i get these girls off me as quick as possible without being labled a dick head? |

Subtle signals of disinterest. E.g, this girl i know who is blatantly attracted to me, tells me i know i love her and asks me to do somethings for her, i BLATANTLY say no. Just say no to these little requests, and don't do what i did by not learning her name and then asking her for it after about a year of conversing with her. |

Are you in heaven?Ha, just kidding. You can just ignore them, or you can give true disqaulifiers ("you're a good friend..." "Any girls in here you think are right for me..." "I really like this girl..."). They should get the hint after a while. If not just tell them you only see them as a friend. |

Don't pay them the attention they crave. If you do that, then they will lose interest. |

This is definitely my sticking point and I have to figure this out. . . but it probably deserves a new thread as it is a completely different topic. Here: viewtopic.php?p=169234#169234 |

This is definitely my sticking point and I have to figure this out. . . but it probably deserves a new thread as it is a completely different topic. Here: viewtopic.php?p=169234#169234 If you have so many people around you that you cannot possibly entertain them all (by that I don't mean be a dancing monkey, I mean you don't have enough time that you can give them all sufficient amounts of it to satisfy them, then they will become bored with the interaction/relationship. What ends up happening is they go elsewhere seeking out that attention they crave. This works when you have too many people to entertain, or there are ones you just don't choose to entertain because you'd rather be doing other things. This is something I've had to get used to doing lately, as I just don't have enough time to interact with all the people in my life, even if I were to spend 100% of my time having social interactions. It was starting to affect the amount of time I put into my business, as well as school. You may notice that I am spending considerably less time on here as well as a result of this. This isn't a dick thing to do and as long as you are ACTUALLY occupied and not just being a dick and ignoring them, then it is a perfectly healthy way of "respectfully beating off the girls with a stick". P.S. If you're able to beat your women, then perhaps you should be double checking that they are in fact women. |

Oops . . . sorry to waste your time Rye, I forgot to add the link after "HERE:" My sticking point is the opposite . . . thus I meant "my" sticking point probably deserves a different thread so we don't derail this original topic: too-much-attention-vs-not-enough-attent ... highlight= |
