Ok so iono if this should be any different than any other set but when your waiting for a ride, as well the target and the convo starts to dry out/dull/ and awkward(and silent) what do you do?? Most of the comments/ advice in a regular approach would be to freeze-out, walk away, or look busy But if she knows as well as you know that your waiting for your ride at that specific place wouldn't it make it more awkward/weird if you do those actions? This happens a lot in classes and closed areas/ situation =[ A buddy of mine just tells me to "stick with it" and push through the awkwardness (for those wondering about the current situation) Theres this cute semi?-shy girl(somewhat soft spoken but hits you when negged lol) that waits for a ride, and when i talk to her after a while the convo dulls and becomes "interviewish", which is when i pretend to look busy OR neg my way out. I also have a hard time stacking but thats maybe cuz I'm sleep deprived =p |

I find usually this happens when I'm not trying to be interesting because I don't want a long conversation due to the fact one of us will be leaving soon. That's silly. Have as interesting a conversation as you can and if it's a half hour conversation that you only get 5-10 minutes into, then great! Now you have a perfect reason to tell her that you have to get together and hang out again, so that you can finish your conversation that you're both interested in! |
