Post subject:  Speaking to a larger audience

Ok i'll introduce myself first, i go by the name Riddler and yes this is my first post :D. Well ive known about the communtiy for about 2 years now, but recently have decided to take a bigger interest. Well in about 2 weeks i have to do a presentation infront of the class, about an Entrepreneur ( Duncan Bannatyne ) and i find it a real problem talking infront off lots of people. Is there any tips you guys may know on how to speak like a confident speaker, or look like a good speaker ?? Thanks Riddler

not an easy problem, just KNOW your shit. practice it to death.. if you are confident that you know your shit when you present it you will come across as confident.

Then there are all the other basics, which are easier typed than followed, dont speak to quick, talk to the back of the room, make eye contact with the whole audience, not just one area, use your hands, pause for emphasis, use strong body language... etc.

google search it and youw ill find lots of 'generic' advice that may be helpful.
