Hey, I'm from the Pennsylvania and I just moved out to Detroit about 6 weeks ago. I live in a dorm at Detroit Medical Center(DMC) and the place I live all the other guys are fucking lame ass squares who never want to do shit but sit around playing video games or on their computer. I have no friends out here and not a single person to go sarging with. Another problem is where I live. I live essentially in the fucking ghetto and I'm a long way from the clubs and popular bars that are downtown and in the suburbs like Deerborn. What should I do to cultivate new friends? I'm a friendly guy but the other people I know that are in their 20's are just square as hell so I'm miserable. I need to get out there and practice sarging. Should I go alone? To me that would make me look like I don't have any friends (which I don't in Detroit). HELP!!! |

The first step is to stop referring to people as "square." Go out there and start chatting people up. |

Ya i feel ya bro. I'm just getting into the whole 'gaming' thing but am looking for reasons to get away from my computer and video games so if you are still in the Detroit area and wanna sarge or just bounce ideas off each other lemme know. |

Yeah I agree with medic calling people square is not the kind of attitude that makes friends, try asking them to come out clubbing even if you have to agree to play a computer game with them, maybe they are not that square and you just need to break their barrier. In saying that maybe they are but each to their own man no need to label them as squares. |
