Alright so heres the story: For the past month of the summer i have been talking with this chick, i knew her from high school but had lost contact until recently. Anyways we started out wth talking on the phone a good amount and over this last month we have been on about 4 dates. Well at first she would text/call me and want to hang out all the time, but nownot so much in fact she is pretty short with her texts which used to be long. This all came along after we talked about me going back to school, which is only an hour away but her car is a piece of shit and probably wouldnt make it up there, no joke; after i had agreed to this she asked me if i would visit. I said that i would if there was a party/event or something, seeing as if i did visit i couldnt stay with her since she still lives with her parents, but i told her that i would come get her for the weekend (mistake?) Her mom even said that she would drop her off for the weekend when she goes to visit her bf, since he lives nearby. Anyways she is still putting out the IOI's when we hang out but it is almost like she is trying to distance herself... now that you have a background doyou think that she has lost some interest or is she just not putting a lot of stock into me since i am moving away? Hope that this make sense and if it doesnt sorry about that its been a long day. Thanks guys |

She is probably putting up emotional barriers to you. Here's why: 1. You're moving away. She's trying to protect herself because you are leaving, and she doesn't want to make it hard on her. 2. She's got a boyfriend. And because of number 1, she will naturally start to gravitate towards him to compensate for you leaving. |
