This is a problem I’ve been struggling with for awhile. I feel confident in my text game, but when I talk to girls in-person, it just doesn’t measure up.

I’ve been told I’m a quieter person (but to be honest, I wish I wasn’t). I enjoy being social, but I always get pegged as “the quiet guy.”

The main issue is conversation. With texting, I feel like I can take an extra minute to think of something witty or funny to say, but in-person I can’t get my mind to work that fast. It’s not a matter of lacking confidence - I feel like I have plenty of that. But my mind will literally just blank out a lot, leaving lots of weird silences in conversation.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks!
