Post subject:  I'm confused hb didn't call, wtf?
ok, I met this hb10 and actually, SHE ASKED ME if she could call me. So I gave her my digits and she gave me hers, and I told her to call me around 9 or 10 pm. She said "great". SHE DIDN'T CALL THOUGH???!!! I didn't call her and say like "what's up?" because I didn't want to seem desperate but am I missing something here? I did email her way earlier saying: Hey, I gave you my cell # because I wasn't sure if I would be home but I will so you should try my home phone (then I gave it to her) A lot of girls are funny about giving out their numbers lol I don't know talk to you soon-Lennon Could that email comment have turned her off?? was I supposed to call her even though she asked if she could call me? Chicks make no sense man. Any ideas on why she didn't call and/or advice on how I should handle this? Thanks -Len

Now, for a girl to actually call you back, I'm pretty sure that is a bad move to begin with. Thinking that you would be the one to take the initiative with getting in contact with her first instead of asking her to contact you would have been the way to go. Might have been some sort of signal in her mind saying, "I'll wait by the phone for you to call me."

Then, in my own opinion, the e-mail may have made it seem a bit needy in the version of, "You better call me or something is going to happen." Ok, terrible comedy on my part, but I think you get what I mean. Pretty much, I think it may have DLV'ed you for it.

Now how to save the interaction....I have no idea. If she didn't call or respond positively to the e-mail, you might have to cut your losses and say forget her. Unless you like trying to reengage her, then that's your call. :P

You didn't wanted to call her because you might have seemed desperate, so you email her instead? That's pretty freaking desperate right there.

You should have waited like 2 days to eventually call her (it's sort of a shit test).

Lesson learned for the next time, because I don't think you'll ever going to see her again.

Uh, let me clarify this. I didn't email her instead of calling ok, I emailed her earlier in the day to tell her to call my house not my cell. That was EARLIER, GOT IT??? THEN, 10 hours later when she didn't call, I was thinking of calling her, but didn't want to seem desperate after she didn't call me. Now do you understand? You don't think I'll ever see her again huh? She did call me, just a few hours late so I was already sleeping :lol: This topic is dead

You're very insecure dude. And yes, I can get that just from a couple of your posts (especially the one I quoted). Okiokdan gave you great advice and you blew up on him. Why even go to a forum to ask for advice when you're just going to get mad at people you don't agree with? Yes your email was needy. You got lucky with this girl (assuming you're not lying about her calling) and trust me, you won't be getting lucky very often with the neediness you project; which goes back to your insecurity.

Also, people "for some reason" want to know what you look like because they think you're lying about an HB10 calling you back after showing that you're needy and insecure. Not only was sending that email needy, what you typed in the email was also needy. So again, assuming you're not lying, you got really lucky. Also, work on your self-esteem. You have major insecurity issues.

You know I've realized on this forum there are guys who are genuinely here to help new guys and guys that are struggling with their or parts of their game and for advice on their own game, and then there are just these douche bags who talk shit, put people down; I've read threads where guys have called newbies morons and idiots and all that shit. That's not what this is supposed to be about.

Yes, maybe I misread your post. But the fact is, she DIDN'T call you at the time YOU were available. I'm glad she called. But I gave you my advice on how I read it, then I suddenly get an "That was EARLIER, GOT IT???" Reaction back... thanks man. Then somebody says you're insecure, which is true, and you're not taking his advice/word either. Stop taking all of the forum crap as something personal, its the Internet for gods sake.

Oh, and please stop using capitals for whole sentences dude, I see this as yelling which is pretty disrespectful against the other person, as its also NOT alpha.

Jesus Christ calm down that ego. If you didn't have such a high-and-mighty attitude people wouldn't be calling you a n00btastic moron. Reread your posts. Then listen to a toddler with a temper tantrum and an overactive sense of entitlement whine about how he wants and deserves a cookie, and how he blames the world for being cruel for not letting him have it. Then read some posts by newbies who were actually humble enough to (metaphorically) say "what I am doing is not working and I am now open to criticism to work toward change." (These posts usually contain no capitalized phrases with excessive exclamatory punctuation.) Then compare the three.

By the way, ego also blocks progression, and true alpha confidence is completely separate from ego.

This topic/question doesn't belong in the lounge anyway.
