Hi I haven't posted on this site since October, but i have known about pua for around a year now, and finishing a communications course that is on dress, body language, tone, proximity, everything that communicates, just a little background info for you. To the point. There's a girl in my college class, funny, black and enrgetic, a really nice girl that's attractive to me, we've been getting on great the whole year, negging her, dhving etc, but she hasn't been in lessons for ages now until this week, so It's been impossible to build anymore on what i've done, i just used her as casual day to day practice, but now i'm starting to really like her, she's shown direct intrest to me before and positive notions. It was her birthday yesterday and I asked her ' nice but what did your boyfriend get you?' to find out on her status, she is single it turns out. Anyway, Tommorow is the LAST day of college, and a number close is easy as long as she turns up, but one problem is that today a good friend of mine who sits next to her says he's seen her try to cover up seriously bad self inflicted cuts on her arms, that have blistered skin due to use of a heated blade, his girlfriend used to self harm so he recognised it to a tee. I never would have expected this ever, as she's always smiling, putting on a positive front, and laughing. I'm now thinking about whether to pursue her as maybe she has really complex self esteem issues and I wouldn't want to complicate them,, but I''ve not got one-itis, she just really make me feel good and maybe even ljbf is good enough for me at this point as a relationship or fling with a self harmer may be a something of a depth i'm not used to. Thanks if you can answer before tommorow morning, tonight would be great. |

What I wanna know is why you've waited so long to get her number and take her out... she probably just sees you as a friend by now. It's up to you wether or not you pursue her, personally I would stay well away because if things don't work out between you the last thing you want is for her to be threatening suicide or something. I've seen it happen and it's not cool. |

Thanks for your reply. To answer your question, the reasons are that she has been out of college for certain long periods of time, and I was never seriously considered properly gaming on her before as I saw her in a totally different light. Until now she was just a heavy bag, if you will, for my starting off in pua. With the breaks in her attendance, I'm thinking it could be coinciding with the self harm I have heard about. If I got involved and she became volatile, suicidal etc. over something, that would most certainly not be the coolest of things for her, or me. So for that reason I may just befriend her as I enjoy her company, she can come to one of my sets im performing this summer, the pua in me is sure she would bring friends to that. |

(She's an 8 and just to avoid terminology confusion with anyone, when I referred to sets, it was terms of music, I'm mc-ing over dnb, hip hop, dubstep this summer). |

I agree, one of my X's, whenever i went to break up with her, she would make me feel so guilty that she was going to harm herself, id take her back again. It was so hard to finally finis =h it properly, and def not worth it.
