Post subject:  Getting started
Hi-how do I get into this 'game'?
I have read some of Style's book (not finished yet), and have tried to sarge, more sucess than normal but still miles from getting laid/anything.
I want to be good by sometime in May for my prom ( i know I wont be finished by then, but improved.
So, tips?

Hi and welcome MOOT!

I'm not even close to be a PUA, but I'm off to a good start and I had the same things. I had my prom 2 weeks ago, and I was very worried about it as I didn't have a promdate. I made a whole 'game plan' to get a date but I found out that if you're going to make such a big deal about it you will fail a lot faster. I went dateless to my prom but I had such a great time. Now I can't believe I was thinking about not going :) .

So just go out and have fun with girls, it isn't homework. Try to set goals that are not impossible to accomplish. And I found out that keep a journal/diary about your succes with women is very smart to do.

Well here's the great thing about your position. You're still in high school so you have plenty of time to learn everything you need to. I wish I knew half of what I know now when I was still in high school.



Read "The Game" first off.

and how far off is your prom from today?
If you have time I'd go out and get "The Stylelife Challenge"
It's a great read and set of challenges for beginners.
It comes in a two book set and can be found at most book stores.
It will lead you through 30 days of challenges that you must do in order but none of them should take more than an hour a day. So all you need is time to read and an hour to complete your challenge. Great for beginners.


Obviously above that you have all of us here that are willing to help if you just ask for it and follow the advice given to you.
