Here's the situation. There is this girl I've known since 7th grade who is probably a HB9. We havent talked in years and the last 4 months or so we started talking and I visited her a month ago. (i'm 20, she's 20 and we're both 5 hrs away at different colleges). When I went to visit her for a day and a night at college she told me she had a bf after I arrived but we still cuddled and stuff anyway since he was away. However I was kinda bummed out since I didn't know before hand she had a bf until she brought it up as we were talking so I left the next morning to go home and I decided to move on with this girl and she or I didn't IM or anything afterwards for like a month Then tonight she IM's me asking me for help on her paper which I joked saying ok but im going to charge. However towards the end of the convo she was getting un-responsive and I didn't want to appear needy or be the only keeping the convo going since she usually just idle's out online without any goodbyes and she only IM's like every few months so It's hard to talk to this girl. I feel like if she truely cared she would show more interest, am I right? I felt like a jerk saying what I did but I really liked this girl and just felt used since she only IM'd me for help not just to see how I was doing after it had been almost 5 weeks since we saw each other in person. So I AFC'd and gave in at the end. What should I have done guys, help me out. What should I say next time? |

Looks like you spent about 30 seconds to decide to go AFC... Who cares if she got upset about what you said? Maybe it will make something in her brain click and realize it was the truth. It wasn't even that mean, she overreacted and I would have called her out on it. Or a simple "the truth hurts" would have worked.

yea thats what I thought firebird, I just don't know why when i'm sticking up for myself I feel like an ass and go all AFC and apologize whenever girls seem to get defensive or upset over something I said both in person and online , I need to work on that. Anyone else have any advice to how I can handle a conversation next time? |

u shud start with a bang !!! ur 1st statement shud come out of no wer .... like "hv u ever heard abt roller coaster theory........or the monkey theory...." or can praise her beauty in poetic style....which of course shud b out-of-box.... once u get a response play ur routine...whichever u hv prepared.....n i assure u thr is no harm in playin online....infact it gives u much time to think. also initially ur response shud b fast then weh u start ur routine keep ur cool and shudnt look excited.....b n alpha male atleast for her..... |
