Post subject:  Messed up with girl, how to proceed?
Just broke up with my gf of 4 years. Wanna move on and i figure the best way to do so is meet more chicks.

Went out for a friends birthday last weekend, didn't know anyone else there. Starting getting on well with 1 girl in particular lets call her 'S' She asked me if i had a gf or children etc (probs just being polite). At various points in the night would come upto me whilst i was talking to someone else and gently poke me and say " i hate you" whilst smiling and laughing then as the night went on it more like " I REALLLLY hate you" again shes laughing and smiling. She says i'm the life and soul of the party, i'm owning the night etc. She gives as good as it gets when it comes to flirting and has a quick response for everything. We tear shreds out of each other but its all good fun.

There is some touching but sadly nothing sexual, we are playful though. Everyone ends up getting really drunk and the group breaks up and shes goes to her hotel, shes from another city approx 50 miles away, i stay out till 630am till the bar closes and have a great night regardless.

Next day our mutual friend 'K' tags me in his status asking if i'm still alive, i respond and then 'S jumps in on the status putting memes up mocking my comment. I think fuck it, add her, we get chatting and have been doing so for the last 5 days, but not too much.

I have only just found out she was single, another random girl in the group told me she wasn't but it turns out these girls didnt know each other either! I was misinformed on the night hence lack of action from me at the time.

Online chats been same as face to face mainly, no mundane hows your day etc just insulting each other for a laugh, she says she hates me more than anyone shes ever met etc. I made a big fuck up though on Friday night and sent her a drunken message with an insult (as a joke obvs.) and she read the message and never replied. My friend said i should say sorry (I KNOW BIG MISTAKE) and try and get it going back on again. Anyways she basically said she was just waiting to see if i would say sorry and that she never gets offended! So i played myself there and now it feels like she has the upper hand.

She handles me very well on social media, turns out shes a social media manager or something. Face to face i had the upper hand but online it's a different ballgame.

Can this be salvaged? I feel like if i ask her out now she has my balls in a vice because i showed weakness so 99.9% chance she will say no. Obviously if i just keep messaging her on FB that leads firmly to the friendzone too so not sure how to proceed. She is 3 months out of a LTR that lasted around 5 years but our mutual friend assures me shes over that.

Any help appreciated.

You are completely and utterly overthinking this one tiny little thing. Don't waste your time trying to take her OUT on a date, she isn't flirting with you like that to share a $10 tub of shitty popcorn feeling the rock hard armrest of a movie theater seat poking her titty. She wants something else rock hard................

Invite her to homemade steak dinner, drinks, and Netflix. Then do what naughty boys and girls do.

Yeah after 4 years of not speaking to many women other than my girlfriend i think my mind has rotted and is now working against me, overthinking, planting seeds of doubt. I'm fairly sure if a girl tells you she hates you that its really the other way if her body language is all positive right?

To add to the plot my ex has since messaged me and wants me back. Now i am confused as to what to do. Guess i will ask this random one what the deal is regards getting her out. If not i can think about whether i want to get back with my ex.

Been together 4 years and agreed to move in together but i cannot sell my house for another 18 months, part of the legal contract when i purchased it. i told her will get a home together in 18 months. She doesnt believe me and thinks i'm stringing her along, doubts my commitment basically. Apart from that everything else was great.

When i said about this randoms intentions i meant just ask her out, that way i will know if she was just being flirty or actually interested.

Not spoke to random since Saturday. Do i initiate contact with something fun or hold fire a day or two and then just ask her out
