Post subject:  MILF flaked, didn't reschedule but was super into me wtf

I hit on a MILF a few years older than me a week ago. I fucked her with my eyes for a good fifteen minutes. She then asked me to join her outside for some air before she goes back to work. I pussied out like a little bitch and said I need to get back to studying (I KNOW!). She leaves and sends me a couple long texts saying how she enjoyed talking to me and wished she could stay but had to go. I knew I had to make a move.

When I'm about to leave, I text her saying I forgot to tell her something (she was still in the same building). So we meet up and I say "I just wanted to tell you that I had a great time talking to you. And that we're going on a date."

She beamed and went on about how she was glad I had the balls to ask her out. I said 8 pm cause she works at 10 pm but she wanted 7 pm cause it would "give us more time", to which I agreed. We chatted for a bit, but I made the mistake of not really touching her cause the vibe was DEFINITELY appropriate unlike the vibe here post984447.html. I don't think sexual tension itself is enough. I told her I had to go. She walked me out of the building then offered to walk me halfway home (I live five minutes away). I held her hand. She commented on it and thought it was cute. We reach the edge of campus and she told me to give her a hug. Instead I go in for the kiss (fuck up?). She turns her head and says "I'm not that kind of girl. You're gonna have to work for it." And I just smile and say that I like how she has boundaries.

Anyways we were supposed to meet up right about now. But it started snowing pretty bad a couple hours ago. I was debating calling her and telling her to not drive in this weather and reschedule but then it got a little better. I get shit signal in my room and basically use my wifi to communicate so I message her on Facebook telling her it's better to Facebook me when she gets here and to drive safe. Then this happens.

"I don't have to work anymore and I don't want to risk the drive the weather's crazy."

"Understandable. I was hoping it would get better." (second sentence definitely a mistake)

"Definitely not getting better."

And that was that. She didn't offer to reschedule. I figured I should brush it off and ask her out again next time I see her. Can you guys critique this entire interaction? Here are some things that I think are mistakes:

1) Not going out for air with her (saved)
2) Lack of kino after asking her out
3) Trying to kiss her
4) Texting her first instead of letting her flake

If I'm missing any, please add to that list.

It was snowing heavily to make YOU think about rescheduling the date, and heavy enough that her shift was canceled.

Don't overthink things too much. Throw in a couple interesting/humourous lines and reschedule.

She wasn't emotionally/physically ready for the kiss at that moment. You just didn't build it up enough, add in enough tension, etc.

There are girls who have given me "the cheek of death" and then kissed me hours later. It's no big deal.

Again, don't overthink things, reschedule, but keep your options open.
