| Post subject: | How to punch a little out of my league |
I’m no master PUA, but I will preface this by saying that I’ve gotten decent at snagging 6’s and 7’s when I want them. And a couple 8’s every now and then. But I largely am not running game on these women. I’m just being confident, conversational, somewhat interesting, and a little bit funny here and then. Now if I pull the usual routines that work on 7’s on 9’s and 10’s at any given bar, they get bored and start talking to their friends. If I try running more game and being cockier/funnier, they think I’m an asshole, get kinda angry, and walk away. I have, more than a few times, even had a 9/10 start talking to me seemingly out of nowhere at bars (right place right time I guess - I know the good places in NYC), and still not been able to have any success with these ones. Maybe I’m overestimating myself, but I honestly don’t think 9’s and 10’s are out of my league. I’m good but not great looking (maybe a 6.5 or 7.5 on looks alone), confident, 6’3” tall, in good shape, have a good job, and I dress well. What can I do to start punching out of my league? Besides the obvious numbers game of just approaching as many 9’s and 10’s as possible. |

Approach them exclusively. No magic pill here |

Hit the gym, keep your carbs under 60 grams a day, and grow a trimmed beard. If your hair is thinning, shave your head (decide if clean shaven or a little stubble up top works). A puffy carb face is just such a deal breaker, and so many guys have it. Also, think moderate weight training build, not runners build. Flimsy men are a dime a dozen. |

I'm skinny now, don't think it's been hurting me. Then again it is me... |

Nothing wrong with being skinny! That's a good thing. But muscle mass will increase one night stands. I've tinkered with different body types, while applying the same game/frame. I did well with a runner's build, but I was able to shoot up into another league, and increase sex-on-first-date by adding muscle. Use what works for you, but also realize, there is always room for personal evolution. |

Luckily I have my hair (I'm 25, so not really anything to brag about) and I workout/am in pretty good shape. 14-15% body fat so lean but not chiseled. BUT I eat a fuck ton of carbs and get away with it because of my metabolism (and the working out I do). 95% chance I do have puffy carb face. Didn't know that was a thing.A puffy carb face is just such a deal breaker, and so many guys have it. Also, think moderate weight training build, not runners build. Flimsy men are a dime a dozen. ArchStanton and JackZero, perhaps I could go up a point if I added some more muscle. Many years ago I added a lot of muscle while lifting and taking vitamins, but I started losing my hair. I stopped the vitamins and the lifting and the hair loss stopped. Now I just lift - no vitamins, but I'm not jacked anymore. |

Lift and eat healthy and maybe a protein supplement...maybe.

It is. A lean, chiseled face will let you "punch up a level" as your original post wanted. Under 60 carbs a day will hit that well. Quote:

Yeah, makes sense. No one is going to be perfect. We're talking about "punching up to the next level" where you're fucking more girls on first dates and meets. This becomes easier when you combine several smaller improvements. For example, a lean, defined face with visible cheekbones, a few pounds of muscle gain, a small improvement in how you tease and flirt with women, a slightly increased vocabulary by reading great novels, etc. It's not really about one magic trick, but about a bunch of smaller things morphing into a man who has women very interested, and much sooner. The pants come off right away, lol. |

Stop focusing so much on looks and go talk to the hot chicks. As long as you avoid bad knee jerk reactions from things like having bad breath or being obese you are good to go. |

Here's a quote I like: Quote:
Cordelia hates and fears me. What does a young girl fear? Intellect [Aand]. Why? Because intellect constitutes the negation of her entire womanly existence.
I like that "fear" or "anxiety", especially in 9's and 10's. With lower "numbers" you can be more friendly, but with the hottest girls I like to be "cold", at least in the beginning...
Masculine handsomeness, prepossessing nature, etc. are fine resources. One can also make a conquest with them but never win a complete victory. Why? Because one is making war on a girl in her own sphere of power, and in her own sphere of power she is always the stronger. With these resources, one can make a girl blush, drop her eyes, but one can never generate the indescribable, captivating anxiety that makes her beauty interesting. |

cold and negs work but you have to be genuine so the chick can believe it. Im 40 I don't have the same energy than when I was 20, I don't pursue any 10's anymore, but of course if one crosses my path and she likes me I won't say no! |
