| Post subject: | How to ask friend out for a date? |
I saw her as a friend for 4 months untill a few weeks ago. I find her funny and was impressed by some of the things she did in the past, like she took care of disabled people, all of it I told her I really like it about her. It is no problem at all to arrange things to do together with her, though havent dont that much with her yet as I only like her very recently. Maybe 5 times we hanged out with the two of us ,during those 4 months that we know each other,and even more often we saw each other briefly coincidentally and sometimes talked then (cause we go to the same uni). Tomorrow morning we ll have an outdoors walk, I was thinking of asking her out for a date after that walk. How would you recommend me to ask her out? How about "I really enjoy spending time with you, and I really like you. Do you maybe wanna go on a real date with me?" Or "These past months that I got to know you better made me really like you, wanna have a real date with me?" Do you have something better? Please let me know! |

NO. You're presenting it as if its some big deal. If you treat it like its some out of the norm event she will respond and treat it the same. Questioning herself as to why you're making a huge deal out of something so simple. Why is it that you like her all of a sudden though? Did you have a girl you were dealing with four months ago? Or did all of the time(investment) that accumulated by you two spending time together turn into you feeling like you want a proper return on your investment? You don't need to set up some formal date. Its too much. Just hang out with her like normal and MAKE A MOVE. Announcing that its a date will not change anything; it'll just add pressure to the situation. At this stage; don't tell her you like her; show her. |
