I've had an opportunity to coach soccer for kids for a while. In a sense, handling them and establish your leadership is a lot like handling women. You learn to set the tone from the beginning and don't tolerate any bad behavior. You give the bad kids time out just like you freeze out women from bad behavior. You learn to hold your frame and take control of the interaction. They constantly challenge your authority much like women throwing you shit test. This could be a good practice for someone who has severe approaching anxiety with women. While working on your AA you could also learn how to establish your alpha and hold your frame. |

Boundaries are just as important to women as they are to children. I've come to the conclusion that there's some evolutionary psychology involved in the sense that: not knowing the "rules" of an interaction in the ancestral environment and social structure you're living in could inadvertantly lead you to breaking them and punishment to occur to you (and your gene line's) detriment.Setting the frame actually makes the other person feel safer as they know where they stand. They will test the frame to see how strong it is (like bad behaviour) but it's just stress testing. |

Yea, treat your women like children, see how far you get with them. Fail. If you see women as constantly having child-like temper tantrum and always testing you, you're messed up as the majority of guys on this board. In which place, congratulations you're in the right place. |

Nothing is going to prepare you for approaching women other than approaching women. Plenty of coaching, instructors, professors, and teachers out there are just as afraid to approach a strange woman they like than guys who aren't in that position. |
