So I'm lying in bed watching Californiacation, and Hank is my hero but it gets me thinking. After splitting with my ex I have been fucking a lot and even though this will sound like I'm bragging I'm really not, but I have a different girl for every day this week mostly from tinder since I've been working on my phone game a lot recently. Yet the last couple of lays I've felt empty like it's not enjoyable. And today after working a girl for a couple of days I invited her round to my house but stated that I was only after one thing and if she was cool with that then cool, if not then we can still be mates. Then she went on a rant saying how she felt used! Even though we hadn't even slept together, she even told me she cried and I never even met the girl. As crazy as she sounds i felt like a dick head. So watching this programme which I urge all pua's to do so, I'm questioning are we all in it to just fuck hot chicks or is there a bigger picture? I guess I'm asking is this really worth it?

Next time ditch the whole "I'm after one thing, take it or leave it" deal.

Californication is a joke.

Hank is a parody of himself, and he's really just an exaggerated ego / douche that most guys think they want to be only to realize when / if they have that sorta life style how vapid and empty it is.

Terrible show to watch and take it literally as a tool on how to be successful with women. If you seriously think its good to watch for crib notes than you're beyond help at this point.

Haha I take it you don't enjoy the show then lol. I for one actually enjoy it, and think it's amusing I'm clearly not going to take tips from a tv show. I'm saying its a good watch for all pua's as he has a lot of traits. I said it got me thinking though about meaningless sex.

DJ I'm and honest guy, and I think if i let them know my intentions from the start then they have no room for expectations. She did say she respected my honesty, but was still disappointed luckily I haven't had sex with her and i don't plan on doing so as she's not emotional able to without expecting more by the sounds of things.

Dude, it's a TV show. It's fun to watch granted, but the outcome is scripted. Life doesn't work like that. Yes arguably Hank has a lot of "pua" traits, but so did Mystery. And he was suicidal.

Meaningless sex is fun as long as you don't try to use it in order to fill a gap, which you quite obviously are. And also relationships are fun as long as you don't use them as a sole source of happiness.

The "bigger" picture is not women. It's not fucking either. If you read my texting guide I have a bit on this exact subject in the very last paragraph of the last post.
Having your shit together across all aspects of your life should always be your higher purpose.

And regarding the girl you mention, being honest is fine, but honesty can be done in brutal ways or in tactful ways.
I always let the girls know that this is a feels free thing, and they always agree because I don't make them feel like shit about it.

Good traits!! He's a 40 something, broke, alcoholic, degenerate writer. Not exactly what ANYONE should aspire to be.

It's fictional. If your 40 and broke........ well, you'd be laughed at by women. Sure, The only reason he smashes is because he wrote a few books that were memorable.

I only saw the first season and that was enough for me. I dare say as the seasons progressed he "turnt it around", He wrote he's magnum opus, attained nirvana and all that other bullshit.

Jesus a lot of hate for this programme. I meant traits to pick up women, why most of us are here, not life traits. I'm not taking any tips from it, it's a good watch and it makes me laugh jeez.

I actually liked it, watched it from beginning to end. But I can separate fact from fiction, and in the process still appreciate the fictional aspect of it for what it is.
