I meet this girl while i was sitting beside her in the trolley station. I didn't flirt with her or give any indications that of my intentions, i just had normal convo with her. We talked while waiting for the trolley and she eventually tells me she is "somewhat" seeing someone nothing serious. The trolley came so we talked inside the it and when it was her stop to get off, i asked her if she wants to text sometimes and she accepted. We were having good text convo - she was very engaging and interested, but all of sudden now she has stopped responding to me after i asked her if she wants to hangout and i called her a few times but she didn't answer. WTF? 0.d lol

HERE'S OUR TEXT CONVO...

HER: Nice meeting! :) have a good day at work

ME: It was nice meeting u too! Did u get home safely?

HER: I did :)!
HER: Now I'm in bed heh
HER: Going to fall sleep soon probably lol
HER: How is work?

ME: Lucky u, i wish i was on the bed! Haha.
ME: Its alright, just boring as hell at this time. You're going to school 2mrw?
ME: By the way, do u go to sdsu?

HER: Yeah I do ! :)
HER: And yes I had classes today
HER: Hope you're day is going good
HER: I feel asleep shortly after I texted you last night heh

ME: Haha i thought u went to grossmont for some reason.
ME: And my day is doing good. I called but u didnt pick up.

HER: I did lol twice , and then I guess I lost signal
HER: I'm at the DMV now :(

ME: Ohh that sucks, your phone is probably lame lol jk.
ME: I can't believe u drive. You looked young when we were talking. How old are you?

HER: lol ! Awe that's sweet of you lol
HER: How old do you think I am?
HER: Or how old did I look? lol

ME: I taught u were 7yrs old! Haha. I took your number just in case someone kidnapped u i could call help for you.
ME: Honestly, i think you looked around 19-20.

HER: Lol! Oh my gosh haha no
HER: I am actually older than 20 lol but that's sweet of you :)

ME: Your welcome.
ME: We should hangout, what u doing 2mrw or tonite?
ME: If you're more comfortable talking with me on the phone that's fine. I don't want to push things on you.
ME: I'm 23 btw.

Sounds kinda needy man.. how many times did you even call her?

I'm just starting out, but it feels like you should've focused your texting on setting up a time to hang out instead of asking for her age, saying "pushing things on her," and whatnot.

1. This convo lacks of.. dynamic. It sounds like 2 friends trying to do some superficial catching up. You need to to make more of an emotional connection. Easiest way to do that is teasing and flirting.

2. That 7 years old joke... was somewhat creepy. Even as a joke... you thought she was 7 years old and still took her number ANYWAY... how does this sound playing in her head? If you notice, she kind just fell out of the convo after that.

3. The last part was too needy on your part. I always AVOID to double text or triple text. Try to be more concise and short next time. For example, when she asked how old did she look, all you need to do is being a little flirty and come back with "Old enough to buy me a drink ;)" - that should be enough to flip the script and put you in control as well as setting it up for a date arrangement.

4. Always text to set a date. NOT to chit chat. Save all that for in person.

5. ALWAYS TEXT with a purpose. Whether it's to set a date or to ping her. Or just to flirt. With a goal in mind, you then can set up your texts so she would react towards an outcome you want. (my response for example)

You're subcomminicating to this girl that "Hey, I just wanna be friends!", then you call and/or text to ask her out. Top it off with:

Your texting is mediocre and boring. You portray less sexuality than a desk lamp but then expect her to see you as an option?

Have a seat... crack a beer open and really think about why that would be...

Logically, not emotionally.

It's not hard to reply, and if she's interested you know she'll reply.

i only called her three times. Two were were a few minutes apart from each because she said she lost signal. the last time i called her later that night and she didn't answer - this when i knew it wasn't going to happen. I was aware to avoid neediness the whole time so i don't believe i was needy at all.

I think the reason why she stopped responding is because i asked her to hangout.

When I text a girl and they don’t text me back right away, I automatically assume that they probably fainted from excitement.

Yes, actually texting someone every 3 minutes does make you clingy.

You actually think it was every 3 mins? I waited for while for some of those texts because i was aware of that. But i will admit she was doing that in very begniing, however she was doing the same back.

The seven year old line wasn't that bad. I gave this to person-good friend of mine who who know's how to game and they said it was great. You act like i said i was going to kinapped her or something.

Lol i'm far from a boring person, been a class clown my entire life. The only reason why i said "i don't want to push things on her" was because she said she was "somewhat" seeing someone before i asked for her number so she said she's not sure on many things. If anything that would, that would make her more comfortable since she's aware about her situation.

Also, i'm not going to be sexual right away on texting if i don't know her yet, that's best way to creep a girl out. I was planning on doing that later as we texts more.

Nah, i called once but she said she didn't have any signal so i called again. If she didn't say that, i wouldn't have called. WHen she stoped responding to my texts that's when i called her later that night since i knew goood chance she wouldn't pickup. I knew was going happen anyways so i said "let me crash this car anyways since it's already done".

Like i said, the reason i believe she stopped responding is because i asked her to hangout.
