This girl I'm seeing, some guy walked up to her and I don't know the complete details but I know that after a while it got to this point:

Her: I don't have to tell you my name...

Then he literally throws his drink over her.

I mean, is it that fucking painful to a guy who doesn't have his shit together? It's so bad that he has to throw a drink over a girl, on her Birthday, infront of a club full of people, making them both look like complete idiots? I mean, what does he think that the people watching in the distance will think of him? The next girl he approaches, will be scared for her fucking life. Lol. That's what makes it so easy for us.

Have you guys ever taken rejection this badly?

I've had some brutal rejections, but I've never been a dick about it. Even before I knew what I was doing, I was never a dick. I might have walked off and said something like "Pffft she was fat anyway. Silly little bitch" or whatever, but throwing a drink over her?

Seriously, have any of you ever taken it this badly? I'm not sure if it's my biased opinion, but it really made my piss fizz when I heard that shit.

Edit: I forgot to mention that after she said it, she walked off. So he must have chased after her just to do it. What a scene he must have caused. He walked past again apparently, and she punched him in the back or something... lol

Edit 2: He got thrown out. Lol. Still pissed me off, though. Should be interesting to see what other guys think.

Sounds like he had low self esteem.

Ive seen the same thing myself where the girl only said "I have a boyfriend" and got a half pint of lager thrown over her for the trouble. Unfortunately for him she did have a boyfriend and was with him at the time. Being a gallant fellow he decided to throw her would be beau down the stairs. The drink thrower ended up knocked clean out with a group of lads standing round him exclaiming "What a fucking tosser".

That's not problem with confidence I guess. It's how mature are you, kids behave in a way like that, when they don't get what they want they start to scream, punch you, making mess altogether.

This guy who threw his drink is literally a little spoiled immature kid.

J. Daniels, I'm just curious, how did the guy look before? His behavior towards people around him?

And the way the girl said that, If you were there would you get offended? I mean, girls do say things like that pretty often, they are playful and know how to tease men better then we tease women.

I wasn't there so it's hard to say, but I think he walked over all rapey and cocky. She said he had the "Just watched my first PUA video" vibe and look, lol.

Could be maturity...could be insecurity...but the simplest and most probable answer is....he was drunk. Lets not forget guys get drunk at BARS/CLUBS. Guys with a drink in their hand...HAVE BEEN DRINKING. Lets not forget guys start fights with other guys at bars when drunk, guys throw drinks on other guys when drunk....the guy was probably drunk. Not trying to kill the theories here, but when someone does an irrational thing at the bar with alcohol involved....its most likely the alcohol. Dont look too deep into people's actions at the club.

Alcohol is a depressant, it simply 'removes' the super-ego temporarily - in lay terms the person becomes less inhibited and is more likely to act-out. There's a reason its often referred to as liquid courage/courage-in-a-bottle.

Yup.

Why I avoid clubs/bars period, never mind having a girlfriend or not. If you want to dance go take a dance class together or go somewhere other than a night club.

Because they think the outcome says something about them.
Once you realize there is so much randomness involved and the outcome is almost out of your hands, rejection won't hurt you anymore.
Also, there is a quote that says "whatever is bad for your ego is good for your soul" [paraphrased]
Once guys realize it's the ego that's fucking them, maybe they will stop taking everything so personally.

Yep. You see them everywhere. The kind of guys who wear shades to go to see their grandad in the middle of winter, a shirt with flames on it, hair like Adam or Sinn at the top of this page, too much cologne and everything that goes with it. Spend 3 years re-reading Mystery Method until they eventually pluck up the courage to do a drunken approach in a club.

Wouldn't surprise me if we see a field report on this forum "drink throw close" from the same guy, lol.

I was outside the club talking to some random girls with my friend.

Guy walks out, hand slammed in some chicks' throat and tosses her on the ground. Dude was huge, the fat bodybuilder type. Next thing you know he was literally beating the shit out of her. Kicks to the face, stomach, tits, blood everywhere.

Intervened as soon as I realized what was happening and got roughed up pretty nicely. Also threatened with a knife. Fucks sake I even got my favorite shirt ruined. Aaaand as an extra bonus I also got tackled in a pool of mud by the police when they arrived as apparently "they had no way of figuring out who was the aggressor". Because evidently, when you see a normal looking dude taking on a 250 lb gorilla, there's obviously not enough info to accurately predict who the victim might be.

Anyway, turns out she said to the guy "I wouldn't let you come 3 feet near my pussy if you were the last man on earth".

This happened quite a few years back. I was visiting a friend in a small city.
I'm never going to small city clubs again.

Damn. That's fucking insane. My sticking point has always been the fear of a girl with a boyfriend like that around the corner, lol. I live in a kind of rough town. It motivates me though. The power of the reframe :lol:
