When it rains it pours man.. From one girl with a boyfriend onto the next. You would have to post the conversation to get some good transitional tips. My transition is usually " Whats your FaceTime or SPAM? Lets video chat." from there I'm all set to go. |

simply change the subject and she how she responds. If she stops talking ease in new subjects until the conversation becomes more broad. |

Good evening gentlemen, I got a number the other day and want advice on what to say to ensure that she agrees to meet me this weekend. We're both fairly new to the area and she told me she hasn't been out much yet. I think I'm going to say "I've been thinking about you. I want you to come and explore Manchester with me tomorrow night." What do you think? Too strong? |

I've been reading it. I said to her "Lo, do you want the good news or the bad news first?"My. Guide. Not sure where I'm gonna take it from there, but I figure it's an interesting text and tough to resist. |

Just an update here, any criticism is welcome. As per R.C.'s advice, I tried to start with something that would get her interest, and elicit an answer, so I chose (When I started I didn't know her nickname was Lo, I just thought it was a good idea to set a "pet name precedence" sorta thing. I also didn't know what the good/bad news was going to be.) Me: Hi Lo, do you want the good news or the bad news first? Her: Good news! And sorry I don't have this number in my phone The anticipation is killing me here! Me: This is MrGlenlivet, the California guy you gave your number to at the Chevy dealership. The good news is that I'm going out to explore Manchester tonight and I've chosen you to come with me. But there's a catch. |

Her: Hahaha oh god you made me so nervous and a Thursday!? Interesting what's the catch Btw my fam always calls me Lo Me: Hell yeah on a Thursday! The catch is that we're gonna have a sunglasses at night date. We both go out in sunglasses Miley Cyrus style, and the first one to take them off loses. I had a feeling. You seem like a Lo. Her: Hahaha did you get punched in the face and are trying to hide it from me!? That's usually the first reason for sunglasses at night I'm in! But I'm not sure what time I get out of work tonight it may be kinda late if that's okay |

Interesting what's the catch Btw my fam always calls me Lo Me: You have to wear sunglasses. Her: I'm in! But I'm not sure what time I get out of work tonight it may be kinda late if that's okay Me: Sounds good. |

Here's my advice on your text exchanges: My opinion on it is completely irrelevant because you got the results you were looking for. That's all that matters: Results. Don't change a thing if you continue to get these kind of results using your unique style. Well done on the results. I'm glad you read RC's guide because the text you were initially going to send would most likely not have worked at all. |
